Re passport, baka kailangan na pong i-renew. Most likely visa validity mo is June 2015 to June 2016. Kailangan at least 6 months valid ang passport beyond visa validity date. In a sense, dapat least December 2016/January 2017 validity ng passport mo. Let's wait for the opinion of our seniors.

Here's what the PPR doc says:

"The validity of your passport(s) must be at least six (6) months beyond the visa validity

date (note that any passport received with a shorter validity than the date shown above

will result in a reduced validity for entry to Canada for all members of your family, if any)."

Agree with 1123dreamer...

On our case, August 2016 ang expiry date ng passport namin..done Medicals on May 6, renewed passports on May 7, passport released schedule is on June 25 yet...PPR received June 3...so what we did was:

June 5 emailed to CEM re requesting for some consideration and/or extension as we are anticipating that we might not be able to catch up for the 30 days lead time.

June 8, received reply from CEM granting extension for PP submission until July 10.

In your case, suggest that you renew your passport..

Bongga!!! Sumasagot talaga mga tao dito! hihi! Salamat po!!! Susundin ko po suggestion nyo. I have just gotten an appointment sa Embassy natin dito sa SG. Akalain mo, October pa ang next appointment for renewal?! Kaya nag email kaagad ako sa kanila na urgent to. Buti nalang na squeeze in ako for June 15 pero 2 months pa din mag hihintay so mga August na ma claim ung passport. kaya lng baka dumating na PPR by that time. Saka nlng ako hihingi ng extension if meron na PPR. Hehe,

Iniisip ko lng, kung isusubmit ko ung old passport ko na may validity na July 2016. I aacept kaya nila yun? At Ibig ba sabihin, kailangan gumora na agad agad sa January 2016 kasi 6 mos dba?

Hi Alex2012, I remember checking my ecas before lunch mga 11pm Jakarta time pero after lunch I tried checking ule and dun meron na sya, mga before 1pm yun so 2pm sa pinas..

Just wanted to chip in, we're in some kind of a similar situation.. Passport will expire on August 2016. We have done our Medicals recently, we're hoping to have the 3rd line soon and the inevitable PPR by God's Grace thereafter.

Actually, we didn't had the time to make appointment with the Phil Embassy here in SG for the said renewal. And we know for the fact that it will take some 2months for the new passport to be released. So, we have decided to wait for the PPR and submit this current PP for stamping. Afterwhich, once PP is back with Visa.. We'll schedule for renewal.

I have done some researched online and here within the forums. Others have done this as well. So, during landing.. U just need to produce the 2 passports, the invalid or expired with the Visa and the renewed PP. Since Visa has it's own expiry and not dependent on the passport.

Not suggesting you do the same. Just an option to consider as well..

Cge.. wait for us na may Visa na.. But since Sept. ka na landing sis.. So most likely, July wala ka na dito SG.. Sa Pinas na for preparation..

hello everyone, just received a call from DHL, our visas are ready to be delivered to us today. Thank you Lord!
for reference of those in passport waiting club, our timeline as follows;

Passport sent to CEM (from SG via fedex) - 4 May 15
Passport received by CEM - 5 May 15
Decision Made - 15 May 15
Processing time - 5 weeks from receipt of passports
This means processing of our visas is still early against the normal 6 to 8 weeks time from receipt of passport.

Just want to share as well na may 4th line na rin ako sa ECAS, not really sure though kung kelan ako nagkaroon since di ko n nacheck yung ECAS after ko na receive yung unang PPR ko nung May 29. Pero di ko pa pla nasusubmit yung passports namen baka sa monday plang. Meron pa bang status kasunod nitong 4th Line?
