Hi! Suggest wait until visa is issued. Based on what I read, visa office may, at any time, conduct random checks by asking you to submit updated bank statements, transaction history, etc.

Suggestion po:
It would be the applicant's call to raise a CSE kung sa tingin nya ay lagpas na sa reported MAXIMUM waiting time
based sa Global SS at Pinoy SS ang paghihintay nya ng updates from Manila VO.

Kung pasok pa naman within limits ng waiting times reported, relax lang po.

Dasal lang po tayo. In God's perfect time, darating din po ang update galing sa Manila VO.

Hello po, July Applicant here from SG but applied through an agency sa Pinas. Kaka register ko lng sa FORUM nato. Although, matagal na kong lurker dito. lol. Dati kasi, palaging kinakabahan at nalulungkot ako para sa sarili ko pag nakita ko na nakareceive na mostly sa inyo ng MR at napa busy din sa work as OFW. But Praise the Lord! Kasama din pala ako dun sa naka receive ng MR. hehe. ;D

Gusto kung magpasalamat sa FORUM nato at sa lahat ng tao behind this. Ang dami ko talaga natutunan kahit na lurker lng ako dito. hehe. Sana dumating na PPR soon. Pero ang problema, hanggang July 2016 nalang validity ng Passport ko. Pwede pa kaya yun???

Any advise sa mga taga rito sa sg at sa pinas?

Free pre-departure orientation seminar ang subject nung email from CEM pero nung binasa ko COA invitation pala yun.

Canadian Orientation Abroad (COA) is a free one-day seminar for ALL categories of IMMIGRANTS, as well as LIVE-IN CAREGIVERS, provided by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Madaming seminar sessions pala na aattendan before departure:
1. CIIP
2. COA
3. PDOS under cfo.gov.ph

hi! i also received CIIP and COA email. nabasa ku sa website nila hindi naman mandatory both orientation. problem ku kasi im from the province. far from manila. costly talaga if pupunta pa para dun but i know it helps talaga ganyang orientation..ok lang bah talaga hindi mag attend? am i right ang required lang talaga is PDOs? salamat!

Re passport, baka kailangan na pong i-renew. Most likely visa validity mo is June 2015 to June 2016. Kailangan at least 6 months valid ang passport beyond visa validity date. In a sense, dapat least December 2016/January 2017 validity ng passport mo. Let's wait for the opinion of our seniors.

Here's what the PPR doc says:

"The validity of your passport(s) must be at least six (6) months beyond the visa validity

date (note that any passport received with a shorter validity than the date shown above

will result in a reduced validity for entry to Canada for all members of your family, if any)."

Passport received by CEM - 5 May 15
Decision Made - 15 May 15
Processing time - 5 weeks from receipt of passports
This means processing of our visas is still early against the normal 6 to 8 weeks time from receipt of passport.
