The CIC accepted our pics from Picture City. Pics from Great Image were rejected due to size of the face. Great image is known for "beauty face" capture. I have nothing against great image when it comes to portrait. Thumbs up. Technically, they know how to make you look great with photos. I just hate them for not following the instructions/printout that we provided from CIC. Oh well, I think that was our lucky day. To those who's pics are from great image and not rejected, that's good.

1. What are the circumstances that one is called for an interview?
2. Are there possibilities that the application will be rejected by VO?
3. Am I correct in understanding that the 1 year validity of visa starts from the MR?

Mukha maganda records ng mga Pinoys.
Saka mukha waived mga interviews so far (sa mga forumers and probably silent followers). That means reliable ang
documents submitted natin.

Congrats to Roman and hope also.

For pictures, I recommended the one located in the carpark bridge ng SM North.
Yong si Denise na sangkot sa vhong navarro issues ang isa sa models
Cheaper but high quality ang pictures with CD for the soft copy pa.
Dont ask me what is the name coz I completely forgot it na.
I havent visited SM North for quite a while and for the past i didnt care to check the name of the establishment.

For your question:
1. The circumstances for an interview are slim, it will depend if they have a question on the Matching of the NOC you applied for to the duties and responsibilities that you submitted to CIO. But if you work with big company's e.g. San Miguel, Globe or Smart, etc. and gave a certificate of employment, normally they don't question it.
Also if they have a question on your proof of funds or if EILTS score is passing mark. Its case to case depending on the Officer handling your case.

2. They are cases that VO rejected applicant if they fail Medical, cannot prove where funds came from or NOC mismatch.

3. The Validity of MR is 1 year, but i'm not sure that if the validity of VISA will be base on it, because normally they give you 6 months to settle your assets and other stuff. Base from the experience of my brother, sister and parents who are already in Canada when their passports where ask by VO they already indicated when you are suppose to land in Canada and they where given 5-6 months time. I guess someone from the thread whose passport are asked or VISA already given may clarify this.

So twice ka nag apply sa FSW dahil sa pics? O sa Manila VO na nila pinapalitan?

Grabe naman ang GREAT IMAGE! Mahal ng pictures nila tapos ganyan? I think it's best if you file a complaint para hindi na maulit.
