I also would like to add the applicant you know from Dec'10 if he/she is on the forum. I haven't come across anyone from 2010 who haven't heard of any updates this year... ! If you can get the details and can keep us updated, it would be helpful.

Ohh he is in PHD category.. I don't know if he belongs in this tracker or not.. since PhD students do not fall under occupations in demand..they have to have experience in their field and PhD enrollment or degree..seems their applications are handled in a different way than regular FSW1 without Job offer.

What do you guys suggest?? Add him or not??

He is a PhD student, but he applied under FSW1 category not PhD stream. His application is based on his work experience not his education.

Thanks for adding me. We hope some good news come soon. Out of curiosity I called cic for status update this week and after the operator had placed me on hold for about 5-7 minutes he came back with some soothing words: "...they have worked on your file very recently...something should come soon...be a little more patient".
