It is worth it only if we actually get it in the end. If they'll make us wait 3 years and then refuse based on some minor mistake or an unimportant technicality then it isn't. What's worse than wait is the silence and lack of any commitment or deadlines
Getting eligibility passed by an agent will not take that long and once it is passed, you can rest easy. The only reason someone's application will be refused after passing eligibility will be because something came up during security.

The province runs their own eligibility and other checks and if you qualify, you're nominated in the end. IRCC is not involved in this stage. When/if you're nominated, you receive your nomination in your EE profile, asking you to either accept or reject it. Once you have accepted it, your file is practically an FSW EE application which goes through IRCC's regular checks including their own standards of eligibility.

I thought the PR was pretty much guaranteed after you passed eligibility and security. I wonder if someone has been rejected after passing the legibility stage.

Express Entry Q3 2021: Focus on CEC and PNP candidates
An internal IRCC briefing note suggests the focus this past quarter was to invite as many in-Canada Express Entry candidates as possible.
https://www.cicnews.com/2021/10/express-entry-q3-2021-focus-on-cec-and-pnp-candidates-1019351.html#gs.d9in0r

The department estimates, for CEC applicants, there is a four to eight month window from invitation to admission, so people invited after July have a smaller chance of being admitted this year.

IRCC anticipated that the provinces, territories, and other stakeholders would criticize them for inviting Express Entry candidates with low scores. So they analyzed Express Entry candidates who had a CRS of 350 who were in the pool on March 1, 2021. They found these candidates were slightly more likely to have a college education than those at 380 or 400. Although they had a lower language proficiency on average, they were more likely to have work experience in a skilled trade or technical occupation which requires intermediate language skills. This would likely indicate that their language proficiency aligned with the demands of their occupations.

Now this article has some insights into what ircc is gonna do and dumb statement again everywhere " This does not necessarily mean there will not be any FSWP draws before the end of the year, but it does mean those who have applied may expect delays in processing"

I remember saying it here that there could have been an internal memo mandating them to pause FSW draws (probably for a year) to focus on admitting as much inlanders as possible. This now seems very likely

Now they have seemingly stopped/slowed down CEC invites which points to a shift in focus.
