FSW vs student visa: big problem for me now :(

i applied for student visa for canada 4 weeks ago, and expecting for a positive result in 3 weeks .... but, i am also eligible for new FSW which is going to start from May 04, 2013...

but, if i apply for FWS before getting student visa, i may get rejected my student visa for that and no guarantee of gettting FSW successfull...

but, if i get student visa, and apply for FSW immigration next day, i can get both ....

but, problem is there are only 300 applicatino to be accepted, so if i apply after 3 weeks, after getting student visa, by that time, 300 application will be filled...

what should i do?

@ Tomsware,I don't think so.remenmber all applicants are to send their credentials for evaluation which takes roughly 3 months.So if were in your shoes,what I will do is to send my credentials for evaluation immediately while I await the outcome of the student visa!!

Come to think of it,both aplications can be done @ par ie applying for FSW visa while your student visa is under processing.
But if you think sending your FSW application will affect your student visa eligibility,then you have to wait till you secure it.
But honestly,if you have the resources,send your credentials for evaluation and proceed with the FSW application asap!!

this is Amal from Egypt we are preparing for FSWP Canada , I have a lovely daughter she has verrrry looow vision but not blind she is so smart girl amazing , do you think they may refuse our application for this reason , please any one have any helpful info can tell me i am so worry ?? you know I decided to immigrate to canada , so I know in this country ??? she will live perfectly

@ the Hope,as long as she is not totally blind,there is no problem.I have a friend whose daughter sees only with recommended glasses meaning that without glasses,she cannot see @ all.During medical exam,the doctor raised concern and warned that she should be taken proper care of before she totally goes blind.they now have their PR Visa.so as long as your daughter can see with the aid of recommended glass,it should not be an issue!

Any update please? Is it okay to apply for FSW or PNP while being on student visa? will they catch me even if I'm in the pool without receiving ITA while I apply for Post study workpermit?

"Catch you" for what? It's fine to apply for PR while here as a student.

There are no issues apply for PR while you are on a study permit. Go ahead. This won't imnpact your PGWP in any way.
