Just called IRCC. They confirmed that everything (security, eligibility etc) was done and that they were waiting for an officer to make a final decision.

Nope! Not at all. I only have lived in Canada and my own country. Never in the military or anything similar.

Folks, so I have no idea what's happening with my file. Past the 5 month already. AOR jan 6th. I was asked and paid the RFPR fee in mid March. My status is in background check processing (IP2).
Just posting this so that ppl who are waiting for more than 5 months know they're not alone I was inland FSW. I should now be technically under CEC because I passed the 1 yr canadian experience.. I tried to call them but nothing new was provided rather than keep waiting ..

This really sucks! I need to leave Canada for a family emergency and my visa is expired. I am going to apply for TVR, as I don't hope that the PR visa comes through this soon.

Just went into IP2...June 15.

AOR: March 2
Medical passed: April 21
BG In progress: April 21 (I checked everyday, but it never changed NA)
PPR: June 16

Sent out photo copies (from a visa-exempt country) this evening.

Aor April 14.
When i applied I was Fsw Inland. Then my visa expired and I have to leave Canada. I raised an IRCC and explained to CIC my situation.
I have still not passed even my medical. But I am being positive and keeping my finger crossed

The RCMP check wasn't submitted nor was it requested.
