Hello folks, Hope y'all doing awesome.

Sep 4: Co-Op semester began. It's the last semester of my 1 year course on study permit. I started working on a full time job offer (without end date) No LMIA.
Dec 14: Co-op semester ends. I apply for work permit with an early graduation letter.
Dec 14 onward, implied status: I am continuing to work at the same place (as the job offer didn't have an end date).

Now, I am applying for Express Entry through FSW, and unsure where and how should my experience be listed? As it says to not list the apprenticeship, and 'do you have a job offer in Canada' etc. I am confused because of implied status, no LMIA, Sep-Dec coop term and such factors.

(EDIT : I don't need points for Canadian Work Experience here. I am applying through FSW, and have 67 qualifying points there with 1.5 years of work experience in India)

Please advise, so I can submit the profile promptly!

Thanks in advance,
Anir

For CEC, you should have at least 12 months of working experience. Else, you can not claim work experience points for this job.

Other than this, this job does not come under job offer criteria for 50 points. You need an LMIA for that.

You can count your work experience from Dec 14 onward. Anything you did while you were a student doesn't count.

Hey, Thanks for responding.

I dont' want it to be counted. I just want to ensure if I should reply Yes or No to 'Do you have a job offer in Canada.' ecause I think it needs to be LMIA supported to answer Yes.

Also, i am not applying through CEC, but through FSW. So I have 12 months of work experience from India. I don't need points for the Canadian job offer. Just trying to ensure how to reflect this in the EE profile for consistency.

Please advise.
Thanks again.
