FSW-3 and PhD studies...

Hi,

I have 2-3 yrs of work experience in skill level A jobs (but not listed in the 38 wanted job list).

I am a PhD student in Canada, and will soon be completing my 1st yr of education on a study permit. Previously I have a masters from outside canada.


After reading the CIC website I am confused if I qualify for FSW-category 3 or not!

Sometimes it seems I need to have lived in canada for 1 yr as a student and sometimes it seems that I need to have been here for 2 yrs as a full time student.

Can someone clarify the latest requirements?

Hi Usman,

It is one year for FSW Cat 3.

It is two years for Canadian Experience Class. Different program, different requirements.
