Dear friends,

By the grace of God, I received MR, PCC, and RPRF on 25 April 2016.

My e-CAS now shows:
"5.We sent you correspondence on April 25, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

May I ask:

1.How long do SG panel physicians process medical results?

2.Should the the results be in before the end of the 30-day-period, or not necessarily as long as the medical exam is done before the given deadline?

3.How long does it take for SGVO to send PPR after "Medical Results Received"?

Thank you so much in advance for your replies :)
I heard it will take the clinic 3 days to process and send to SGVO. For PPR I also heard it is one to two months.

Praise God! By God's grace, I would like to share with you all that my most awaited Medical Request and COC Request, RPRF have been emailed to me yesterday afternoon.

I am very happy. This is one step up but of course, there is more work to be done. I can't take the medical yet I believe cause I am unwell due to the haze in SG and I am taking medication. Maybe I will schedule for a medical exam next week.

What do you guys think? Do I wait that I would be well and free from any medication? Please advise.

Hi All,

I did a medical test in Singapore. For those who are planning to take the Medical Examination, may be this info will be useful.

I got an Appointment in the Fullerton Clinic on 11-May-2016 @ 11:00 AM

It is in level 26 - Tower B - Ngee An City - Orchard Road.

I reached @ 10:55 AM and approached the Reception. They took half-an hour time to register me and provided me and my wife the separate queue# @ 11:30 AM

After 5 minutes, A lady arrived and took me to take the height, weight, BMI, Vision Test & Blood Pressure followed by the Urine Test

After that I waited for 10 more minutes, then a old man called me for Blood test.

After blood test, we waited 15 minutes and finally visited a lady doctor. She asked about all my medical history and long term medication which i was taking. I think they are considering anything as a long-term medicine only if he/she is taking it for more than 6 months.

After which I waited for 15 minutes and then settled the bill. It is 260 SGD + 7% GST. Visa, master, NETS and CASH accepted, but mastercard - Additional 3% service charge, so those who wish to pay via credit card, better carry a visa than master.

After which I have been given a blue slip, which I have to take it to PARAGON Mall - Opposite to Ngee Ann City - #08-08 - 8th floor in paragon mall.

Since my wife is pregnant, we have not opted the x-ray for her (But they have not charged for x-ray for my wife). Though they have given us the option to take the x-ray with safety vest, still we didnt opt for it. We waited around 20 minutes after the registration and finally the x-ray is just one minute job as usual. Only one x-ray of straight chest.

Once the baby is delivered, we can show the blue slip (Spouse's) and then take the x-ray. After which the CIC will take its own sweet time to respond.

I came to know from the clinic that, they will upload the results within 5 working days.

Note: No need to take the photos, as they will take the photos in Clinic.

Hi All,

I just completed my Medical's yesterday in Chicago and also paid the RPRF fee. I have received my MR on 10 May, 2016 at 1:50 am USA time. Now I am in a bit of confusion regarding PCC instruction in the MR mail and requesting senior's feedback.

Here's my case:
-I applied for FSW on 13 Nov'2014 (Did not submit PCC with application).
-On 7 Aug'2015 I proactively sent my PCC to SGVO. This included (1) PCC from BD of me and my spouse (issued Dt. 10 Jun, 2015) and (2) FBI Summary Check of my spouse as she was in USA for more than 6 months (issued Dt. 5 May, 2015)

This is the exact quote from the email instruction:
"Original Good Conduct Certificate (or Certificate of No Criminal Record) from the police authorities of Bangladesh & USA(FBI) where you, your spouse/common-law partner, and each of your dependent children who is 18 years of age and older, have resided for a period of six months or more since turning 18. There may be more than one type of police certificate available in each country. To find out which certificate(s) you need and how to apply for them, visit the CIC Web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp
If you do not provide the correct type of police certificate, the processing of your application will be delayed. Police certificates are valid for one year from the date of issue. If you have already submitted a police certificate which is still valid, you do not need to submit a new one."

As you can see our BD PCC is still valid till 10 Jun, 2016, but FBI PCC of my spouse expired on 5 May, 2016 (as per 1 year validity).

I have already started the process for collecting the FBI PCC of me and my spouse, but it will take at least 4 months to receive the report at hand. And I can get the BD PCC in approximately 20 to 30 days.

I have completed all other requirements (MR & RPRF) and other Docs, but regarding PCC I am in confusion as how to explain or approach them with the 30 day deadline.

Your valuable feedback is highly appreciated.

Dear All,

Told you that SGVO is working in supersonic speed now! By the grace of Almighty ALLAH (SWT) I got the PPR today afternoon i.e. on 3rd May, Alhumdulillah.
I've got DM on 1st of May.

Keep faith on ALLAH (SWT), HE decides everything.

Thank you all.

Kind regards
Hi M_Bd,

Congrats on your PPR. If possible, may I ask how long will it take to get your passport with a visa since the date you send your PP to them?

Thanks,

I justgot an e mail from Fullerton that my medical reports are already shared with the CIC today. They send me the first page of the report which has base info about what are all the tests I have taken along with a photo take taken, and a barcode.

Hello Jess0612,

Thank you. Well, I did not submit our passports yet because I've submitted my spouse's passport to be re-issued due to expiring soon. After getting that soon I'll submit Insha Allah.

FSW 2014 SINGAPORE VISA OFFICE -assistance needed

hi am new here,

I got a mail from the Singapore office this morning. There they mentioned that -----In my application i indicated that all my various jobs in banking have been those where i performed duties as set out in Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC) – code 1114. That unit group – other financial officers – defines those who perform specialist financial work (inspectors, for example) but also financial planners. The assessing officer asked me to explain in greater detail "why I believe I perform the duties in this group". If, for example, they asked if I have a licence or designation to sell securities or assist in the preparation of personal financial plans then it will be to my benefit to provide details on this work and any documentation confirming my statements. In addition, if I perform other duties in Treasury (that is where most of my experience is) that may be covered in other NOCs then it may be to my advantage to explain how such duties would equate to those covered in other NOCs – code1112, for example.

They asked me to reply to this mail within 30 days of the date received. -----

HOW SHOULD I RESPONSE? I mean what documents/statement will help me to satisfy them?

Hi,
Try calling them in the afternoon. I called them yesterday at 3pm and I managed to get an appointment with them on the 17th. My deadline is on the 25th.Good thing I listened to Nicksar's advice. Should they upload the results after 5 working days, I'd be just on time, or a day earlier.
