Any latest update on NOC 2171. I am 4th Sept applicant.
Any guesses whether I be in cap or not.

Sept 26 Applicant for NOC 2171, still no update and CC has not been charged

I am 24 September applicant for NOC 2171. There seems to be a state of complete confusion in 2171 category as far as the September applicants are concerned. Either CIC has temporarily put this noc on hold - possibly due to sudden surge of applications in sep - or its game over for us.

I am a Sep 16 applicant for NOC 2171 . Went the DD way .
Mailed them on 20 Nov for a status .. Still waiting for reply .

IELTS has refused to give a duplicate copy of TRF unless i show them a "application receipt" acknowledgement from CIC . So, I cant even apply for EE .

Guess all i could do is wait !! :-X

I am a 18th Sept applicant for noc 2171. I have checked with my consultants and they haven't received any updates on September candidates. The question which is crossing in everyone mind is why CIC is holding back the application for such a long time when they have announced the cap full update for 2171 long time back.

I am very much surprised by the way NOC 2171 is getting managed. My application had reached CIC,Sydney,Nova Scotia on 26th of august.But I am yet to recieve the PER file & as per the last status the DD is also not encashed.

I had also sent a mail to CIC in December asking my application status,but I am yet to get any reply from them.I have started to losing my patience here.I am very positive to get the file number as my documents reached in proper timefarme also,Cap was also not filled up by that time.

No idea,what is going on?.

I am an Indian Citizen in US on H1 Visa. I have applied for FSW 2014 under NOC 2172 and waiting for AR Number now. Have a couple of queries.

1. I have provided only my H1B Visa stamping (No H1B Petition) on my passport with FSW Application. Do I need to provide my H1 Visa Petitions (apart from H1B Visa Stamping on my passport) for FSW?

2. Under my supplemental travel details, I missed mentioning my recent travel to India in July/August 2014. Can this cause my FSW application to get rejected by Visa Officer?

Appreciate any inputs.

There is also one entry in SS of 10-Nov-14 against 2172.
Do you know where CIC is updating Cap status now to check the latest official version about it.?

When can I expect it return back due to cap filled? Anybody have any iadea?

My application reached CIC on 16th October for 2173. I too haven't got my application back. Usually it takes 4 - 5 months. So i think Mach 2015 is the timeline... the problem is that now I have applied for EE and need an IELTS TRF which BC won't provide until I officially prove to them that CIC has accepted/rejected it, This won't happen until I get my application back. So now even if I get an ITA in January EE draw i still can't apply due to absence of TRF. This has become a very tricky situation indeed.!!! God only knows what to do. I have lost all hope... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

IDP refused to give a second copy of TRF. I had provided a printout of the immigration application form and courier dispatch details. I escalated the matter, to their CEO. I actually got the TRF quickly. ID should be reporting scores where ever needed. They are not doing the right thing by refusing to issue a TRF.

Same case with me. To my bad luck CIC updated the CAP count just a day after I couriered my application and now I just need to wait n wait. Can't even complete my EE for in mycic portal.
