I found the statement and it says " the Box 45 on your Record of Landing (IMM 1000), Box 46 on your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5509) or the back of your Permanent Resident Card)".

Is that the COPR you were talking about? and do you get that once you land?

No firm timelines for CPC-O. Have you tried the notorious call centre agents?

Thanks for your reply Diplo. Not yet - I was thinking of giving it a few more days and call them after 2 weeks are over.

I just hope that at the end of the journey I don't get turned around

The Confirmation of Permanent residence (COPR) is a document which is received with the passports after they are returned from the embassy with the stamped visa.
It is being signed with the immigration officer while landing

You could always try requesting urgent processing if you have tickets at hand.

If you mean for citizenship, it is the day you officially land in Canada (1).
