I am really nervous and worried right now. My timeline is as follows:
App. Received: Nov 28, 2014
PER: Feb 16, 2015
Med Req: May 27, 2015
Med done: May 28,2015

I requested my notes and it shows that I passed everything : security, medical, background and that I am in RFV state. Moreover, it states that my due date is 1/1/2016. it means that I should be receiving a reply before the March 31, 2016 group. I did not hear from them !!
What could be the problem ?

another question is, if I am planning to go on a 3-weeks vacation soon, what should I do if I received DM and PPR during the vacation ?
will I have to do any extra paper work or security checks if I went on a vacation before completing the stamping and landing process ?

It's not my prediction. It's a date set in the Government's Action Plan. This only includes NHQ Centralized Processing Region, not overseas.

My question- once they get it, how long they take usually to stamp the visa? and repost to my address?

From what I understand, if you are from a country that doesn't require a visa like the US or the UK, then you will just get COPR and will not be required to submit your passport as you do not need a visa. Correct me if I'm wrong, Diplomatru.

Nothing to correct here kwyatt75.
Citizens of countries that have a visa waiver agreement with Canada don't submit passports for visa stamping. Actually, they didn't use to send RFV letter in such cases last year, but rather sent COPR by regular post with a letter wishing every success in Canada. I wonder if they changed the process this year. But if you fail to get the email, don't freak out and check your mailbox instead.

Hi ONI7042,

Expect to see "item processed" in your tracker within 7 business days. In case their printing location is packed full with passports, bear with them for up to 30 days.

No action is required from you at this stage. Just wait for your turn patiently and live your normal life. They will reach you with the RFV letter.
