Thanks snayak. I know what you mean by the waiting... but I am much happier to be in the SLU waiting club, than I was in the FLU waiting club. All the cool kids were leaving that place fast and it's a horrible feeling being left out.

Ha ha ha ..I agree to that waiting in the SLU club is much more comfortable ..I guess we were the last batch no one else with CPCO left without a SLU ..!!

On your second question:
2 things here - sending Indian passport outside the country of residence is illegal unless someone authorized carries the same which additionally requires documentation by Indian law. Not to scare any one, but it is clearly written in high commission website. I changed CPC-O to Newyork this week when they requested for passport, and the response time after sending the email request to change consulate was 1 day. On average less than a week. Good luck.

NARTCR - Congratulations!. Would you mind sharing a generic template sample of the email sent to change the visa office to NY and what was the subject line of the same?

I know this might sound silly, but thought it would be useful, as your email got their quick attention. I am new to this forum and I just got my RFR and need to change from CPC-O to NY. Please share if possible and thanks.

Yes, that's very close to my PER and SLU time line. This gives me high hopes of getting MR by end of this week. Today has been very good with MRs SLUs and other good news. Hope we see more and more of it in the coming days of the week.
