Mine didn't even say welcome to Canada and honestly I DONT CARE ;D - I went out of the office and said "This is my BIRTH RIGHT, now I have arrived & I will conquer Canada"

We were not asked any questions, just asked to sign and Initial the COPR forms and he asked us to sit down and 15 mins later called back and welcomed to Canada as PR, congratulated and given a canadian flag each. Very easy and smooth process. Now begins the accumlation of time for citizenship and to get Nexus card

Congratulations +1 to you. They received my passport on the 20th. I hope the tracking with be activated this week for mine too.

BTW, how do you check to see if the tracking is activated? Just enter the tracking number on the Canada Post website, correct?

I emailed as suggested to CPC-CTD-Ottawa. Its been 2 days now, no reply.

Are you guys aware of the average response-back time ?

Hi guys,

I got the reply for my email today that I had sent to CPC-Ottawa on 16th March.

It was about the FBI PCC extension. They have granted a further two month extension, although that won't be sufficient for me to procure the PCC because FBI takes 14-16 weeks.

I had also asked them whether I shall send the other PCCs in the meantime to which they said I can send all of them by the new deadline. But I did send the other ones already, few days after I sent them the email and before the first deadline passed.

Just wanted to share.

PS: Just checked, FBI has updated the response time to 12-14 weeks. Good for me I guess.
