I reside in US and I have come down to India on vacation. I want to know if I can do my medicals in India before CIC requests for it. Is it allowed? Please help. My timeline given below. I have my FBI clearance letter. Can I send that too before they request?

You cannot as you have to provide the hospital with the forms you will receive in the medical request email

happy for you guys i am sure grace and cecjuly will also get there mails today..
i am happy that CPCO has broken its tradition of sending PPR mails every friday.. ;D ;D

PCC you can send without waiting for their request but medicals I don't know. I heard that someone did this before actual request from cic but this you have to research.

Yes NJS. You can do your medicals from any part of the world unless the doctor is on the panel and you have a UCI no. with you. Just talk to the empanelled doctor near you and ask for his requirements. I went for medicals for my daughter and wife without any request. Worked well. CIC picks them up from the UCI no. The term is upfront medical. You can send the FBI letter as well but prefer to send everything including the proof of medicals in one envelope rather than two different mails.
