FSW 2014 August Applicants

Hi Friends,

I am August 20, 2014 applicant and have recently got the second line updated on my application. Looks like my application has started for processing from March 23rd. I have few questions / clarifications from experts in this group.

I was in US while I applied for PR. I was uncertain where I will be in 2015, so I chose NDVO as visa office where my application is currently being processed. Recently I have moved to Canada. So I want to know if I can the medical done here in Canada? I have updated my communication address for Canada online.

Also, when it comes to passport request for visa stamping. Can that be done in Canada itself. If yes, what's the process for same.

Last but important, are there still some roadblocks to overcome or I should be thru with the process ).

Congrats Gurjeet.. MR should be in your inbox shortly. As for doing the medicals, you can have it done anywhere in globe as long as it is accredited by CIC. You can check the list of clinics on which country you are from their website.

As for the stamping, you can try to email NDVO and request such.

Got my medicals done yesterday(30 March) and hopefully they send it by Friday to NDVO. Paid my RPRF online and will dispatch recepit today.
Wait-part xx(have to wait at each step) started.

Hi,

Who is principal applicant ? If you, then no need to worry anything. If your spouse, then again its time to relax dear but you need to land before June 2015.
However, as per the instructions, minimum 1 year validity is required. But don't worry, Visa stamping is not done yet. If they require your wife's updated passport, they will contact you. If they not contact and you receive PPR then you can send updated passport with cover letter to VO after PPR.

Anybody from NDVO got Thirdline updates today?

I got my 3rd line updated today eventhough my medicals were done on 12th and hospital uploaded on 17th.
So you can expect it this week or next..

Got 2nd line update just now.


We received your application for permanent residence on August 29, 2014.

We started processing your application on March 11, 2015.


Now waiting for MR. Can anyone please tell me the average time they take between 2nd line update and MR mail? Also does 2nd line means that the background check has been done?
