When can I expect MR from NDVO?

Application date : 07 August
PER date : 03 December
ECAS 2nd line : 05 February

Manish : first thank you for starting this thread. From the trend i am seeing usually it takes 10 to 12 days to MR from 2nd line update .
so lets wait till next weeek ......

NEEDS SUGGESTION FRIENDS....

I just realized that in initial application I have made unintentional little typographical error in mentioning the year. In schedule A background form, question 12 Addresses, I have mentioned 2012/06 instead of 2011/06 in column "TO". However, I have provided the photocopies of pages of passports showing entry/exit stamps at airport that prove my stay in India from 2011/04 to 2011/06....have also mentioned the same period correctly in question 8 personal history of the same form...I received PER on 19th Dec 14...no second line update yet...Shall I inform NDVO via case specific enquiry or wait for their response...I am a bit worried bacoz MR is taking more than the average time for me...

Hi Ishwar,

Do not respond anything until it is asked for. If VO has a query on any thing, you will get a mail and please respond only to that.

No email, have to check periodically. Set a time maybe EOD everyday and see if its getting updated. Only takes 3 mins. Also on a personal laptop which stores pre-typed values in text boxes, it even takes lesser time close to 1-2 mins. ;D

Who is ur consultant? Is he a reliable person... in some cases applications r returned due to stupid mistakes of these consultants..u called for UCI # on ur own or ur consultant gave it to u.. ask ur consultant to check junk folder of his email
PER should hv arrived by 30th nov.

Can someof you help me out this. My CC was charged 30.12.14 and current status on CIC site is In progress. 1st line only. No MR recd.
I want to now change the job. Some of my friends told me not to do this as this may delay the applciation process and may also lead to rejection of application if they do not find a satisfactory reply from my current employer. They may also ask for more details like roles and responsibilities from new employer.
Do you suggest me to change the job ?
Can it affect negatively or delay my PR process?

Your situation is a little similar to mine. But it is not a special case this time. I have asked my consultant and the consultant has consulted this with the Canadian lawyer. The lawyer said that in one month the news would come.

I PERSONALLY AGREE WITH WHAT YOUR FRIENDS HAD SUGGESTED......STAY PATIENT UNTILL YOU RECEIVE SOME CONCRETE DECISION ON YOUR APPLICATION.........AFTER ALL OUR ULTIMATE GOAL IS CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this needs to be checked daily. No other go.

Dear friends,
My ECAS status just seen new update of 2nd line today only.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 15, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on February 6, 2015.

That means now only they have opened my file and they will initiate security and background checks or it is already completed now just need to wait for MR... please reply i am really tensed.
