Got confirmation that August 23rd reached application -got an email saying CAP reached on Saturday.....for 2173 NOC. I am August 27th Applicant.

Hi Surya,

Did you received a mail from CIC that the CAP has reached ?. or Did Y-Axis told you that you had exceeded the CAP. Your previous post is bit confusing. You mentioned that you got PER and now you are telling the CAP has reached. Can you please clarify.

This will help lot of other members this forum to understand the their status.

20th is a Saturday right? Are you sure the email was sent on a weekend?

Thanks for your reply. What I understand is that a usual language that CIC uses. "In Process" and then "We have recvd your application......." Wondering what that really means. I mean what status does it really signifies...Any expertise???

Thanks dear. One more thing. If the DD has been en-cashed, does it mean that I have made it within the Cap or there are chances that by the time my PER is issued, the Cap is full and thus a rejection for me. If DD en-cashed on 28th Nov, then by when can I expect the PER mail? Any idea?

DD encashed means you are WITHIN CAP. Below are steps how they work:-
1)Ensure all documents are complete and application within CAP
2)Sent to finance department for payment clearance.
3)Once cleared, they recheck points and send PER.
4)File transferred to local VO
Right now, CIC is unpredictable as people from 15 Aug through mid-Oct are getting PER emails, but you will get one for sure and hopefully before Christmas. Good luck!

bad news, noc 2173 applied in 18 august... my agency from canada says 17-12-2014 received a mail from cic that the cap has reached and you may qualify under another category................ anybody getting this letter or please response...............

I just called up the CIC call centre and I was told that they do not give out any UCI number. I know for sure that they have given the UCI number to some of the friends in this forum. Are they giving this number randomly?

Maple, I understand your frustration. We are in the same boat But it is very important to keep faith and wait as I have learned here that CIC has their own way of doing things and these cannot be dictated.

So let us keep the faith and pray for each other

Some of the operators dont, some do. U need to keep sort of begging them, many ppl tried more than once to get it. Some operators are very politely giving uci after having last name, address and so on.
