by that time u will be abt to get medicals
wait patiently...i too waited..... u will get PER this week....they are slow because of holidays coming.....

i did not validate and hence did not generate barcode in my application for FSW NOC 3011,and more over MY economic class application was not the updated application(NEW APPLICATION WAS GIVEN BY THE IMMIGRATION IN AUGUST 2014) .inspite of it cc got detected 0n 17th november but PER is awaited .my application reached cic on 13 th of august 2014. but all the required documents were attached except my husbands pcc .many clients who submitted application in august later than mine got their PER,but i did not ,is the time delay because of this problem .do i need to send another set of application ALONG WITH THE DOCUMENTS .advice me PLEASE AS TIME IS VERY SHORT AND MY SCORE IS ALSO BOARDER 67 ONLY

Hi! I am new in the forum. My NOC 0013, Application received on Aug 20, DD charged on NOV 25. But so far no PER MAIL. Am I out of the show?

My bank couldn't tell me if the DD was encashed or not! And I called up CIC but the lady told me I have to contact Sydney office to get any information about my application, and that's only possible through e-mail. How unfortunate!!!

Hi there,

Is your DD encashed already? If yes, just wait for the PER email. If not, you may send an email to CIO to check the status of your application.

Q. How can I know the status of my application?
A. In reality you can't. But if you have sent your application 8 ~ 10 weeks ago, then you can email at cio-sydney-search-enquiry[at]cic.gc.ca to get the status of your application. You will have to send them your Last name, First name, Date of Birth, Country of Birth in order to get the notification. You will receive a reply by email within 20 working days.
Have been seeing lot of queries on how to contact CIC for an update.Found this usefull information.
Hope it helps others on the forum who are also eagerly waiting for an update.

How to get in touch with CIC over the phone or via email

NOTE: It is not necessary that you will get information about Federal Skilled Worker Program. Do not call them before time [8 ~ 10 weeks], they will NOT be able to help you!

Via Email

For case specific query, you need to e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry[at]cic.gc.ca .

You will have to send them your Last name, First name, Date of Birth, Country of Birth with additional info like application received date at CIC in order to get the notification

Via Phone

Getting in touch on the phone:
call to below number based on your location
Inside Canada: 1-888-242 2100
Outside Canada: 1-613-944-4000

if calling to 1-613-944-4000 follow below steps:
Select 1 for English
Then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
Call is being transferred to CIC
Then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR

If you don't have a UCI and want to obtain it :

When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

If you already have a UCI and want to check the status:

In last IVR system ask you to enter your UCI
Once you enter your UCI,
If system directs you directly to agent without any announcement it's means your payment is not Encashed yet
If after entering your UCI, you listen the announcement like ” your application has received on xxx day” it's means you have been charged now wait for the PER

But I didn't find 3142 NOC very active yet..

Reality on Ground and actions that can be taken on or before 19 Dec.2014 in order to meet up
31st Dec 2014 acceptance at CIC.

Scenario 1:I have not receive any news from CIC(Including those awaiting PER)
I will suggest that you send a new application with the help or service of professional or members of
the forum.This is a back up plan so that you will not lose out.If your PER arrives,terminate the
new application by instructing the card issuer not to allow payment deduction.

Scenario 2:I have not receive my returned application
Send another application by requesting for another IELTS trf and use the duplicate of your ECA report.
Warning:Beware of almost capped NOCs please.Think of alternative NOCs please.

Scenario 3:I am awaiting IELTS & ECA report
Send you application if you can take the risk.You will send these 2 reports as addendum in Jan.,2015.
This risk taken is 50-50 PLEASE.If can take it so that you will not lose out under FSW 2014.
Warning:Addendum may or may not be added.Pray for mother luck.

Scenario 4:Application returned due to capping,can I resubmit before 31st Dec.2014?
Yes,you can resubmit and will surely make it.
Submit under another NOCs.For example
Mechanical Engrs-2132
Alternative options:2232,2243,0712,0911
Electrical Engrs-2133
Alternative options:2232,2241,2243
Civil Engrs-2131
Alternative options:1224,2234,0712,1224
Nurses-3012
Alternative options:3011,3233,3234,0311
Check for alternative NOCs for your profession please.

Scenario 5:I received NER,what can I do.
Prepare for Express Entry,Jan 2015 straightaway please.
I will be sharing my knowledge on Express Entry very soon.

Note:Reasons you should act on or before 19 Dec 2015 to avoid delay are:
1.Holidays have taken 2 days
2.Weekend post services are not reliable.
3.Bad Weather.
4.Pressure of postal services to deliver Christmas packages.

KSA, does that apply to 5125 as well? I have not seen anyone from this category getting the cc charge or PER. Not sure. Please suggest.
