Is it CIC cap's post presenting DD.
As updates says last DD presented was 13 Aug, this means 2171 capping ends at 13 Aug only... Anything for 2171 applicants post 13aug...

it's sad for me, but it may be a good news for other 2173 applicants, as it seems Sep 2173 may still have chances

Dear Sir/Madam:



Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 17 Nov 2014. It was deemed incomplete. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.



The documents were also returned to you on 18 Nov 2014.



We do not keep detailed records of each application returned so I am unable to provide more case specific details.



Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.

Now for me :

For the seniors and expert guys here,

My NOC 2173 application was received by CIO on August 28, the receiver person signed as " M K". My payment method is Money Order.
Based on the above, what are the chances that my application passed the completeness check ? knowing that I did not receive anything so far from them. Neither a PER nor an e-mail saying that my application was returned for some reason.

As the above member was a Sept 4th applicant was checked, does this mean that I, as an August 28 applicant, got checked for sure ?
As the above member got a "return application" e-mail notification (at maximum today Nov 21, if not before ) stating that his application was returned on Nov 17 stating , while I did not receive such, does this mean that I passes the completeness check ?

The source of the data is the global SS.
My advice for DD applicant (myself included) is to wait for PER.
Start targeting the time when people who submitted around the same time as you starts getting PER.

Sorry....one of the disadvantages of using DD.

It is not me who got his application returned. It is someone else whose application arrived at CIO in Sept 4th. based on that guy story, I am trying to know if my application which have arrived in August 28th has gone into the cap of 2173. That guy story tells us that at least applications till Sept 4ht have undergo completeness check. In addition, it tells us that those application that arrived before Sept 4th and did not pass the completeness check should have received the "return application" e-mail by now.

Hi Avinir,

Apologies for my late reply. Just logged in today.

You need to have a Photobucket.com account. From there you can upload your photo. and it will generate a URL code address of the particular photo of yours. You can then copy the URL address on the "IMG" option. Then you can paste it here in your forum post. It will automatically reveal the photo when you click post.

Hello there everyone!
So it has come to discussion many times recently asking how to post images here.
Often times it is hard to describe it. I figure most people learn faster on visualization so for all of your benefits, I screen-capped the steps you can take to post an image on here if ever needed to. Hope you enjoy!
P.S. Sorry I can not do anything to change the size of the images. The site makes it that small. When in doubt just follow the arrows.

First step: Upload your image to a host site for storing photos online. In this example I will be using Photobucket.

Second step: Once you have finished uploading your image. You will select the whole "direct url" shown here by the arrow.

Third step: Once you have the code selected. You will need to right-click and copy the link for the image.

Fourth step: Come back onto the forum and click "reply". Now you need to click the "insert image" icon shown here by the arrow.

Fifth step: Now that you have clicked the "insert image" icon it should pop up an "img code". See example.

Sixth step: Now that the image code has been inserted. You will click to put your cursor between the code, right click, then paste.

Seventh step: And now you should have the "direct url" pasted in between the image code. Once previewed, you can click post. You should now see an image.

I hope this thread helps people and is easy to follow. I don't know if it will be helpful to a lot of people but I figured it wouldn't hurt to show people how to use this feature of the site. Let me know if you like it or it was helpful. Also, try it out in this thread with posting a picture if you like. Good luck posting pictures.

if in 2nd step, instead of "direct link" click on "IMG" link, then insert it in the body of you message.

Hi bro, actually during the stage of C-check. For those application that were considered incomplete and found to have some discrepancies, won't receive any email from CIC. The only to know is when you received you package back. Unless, for some members here who have sent an email inquiry regarding their status and got a reply from CIC normally 45days. Upon which the email indicates that they have sent back their app along with all the attached docs on the date stated.

But most of the time, applicants only found out when they received back the package.

But we don't want to think that way. Keep your hopes up and continue to pray..

You are not alone! I am a 30-aug applicant waiting for a response amd my bank wont confirm if my DD was encashed. For the moment, all we can do is sit tight and wait for the DD. Things should get more clear in the next 2-3 weeks. Till then pray that all August applicants safely get in and keep your hopes up.
