Hi there!

I don't think so. You need to have your application # or UCI # (Unique Client Identifier) before you can access the status of your application in ECAS (site to check your app status). The numbers mentioned above will only be available after you received your PER.

You will get it once your application has been processed by the authorities. At this point, you can just patiently wait. It will happen.

I just got call from my bank that my dd has been encashed on 28 Nov. So glad to hear beginning of my dream manifestation. Hoping to receive per mail in coming week.

Great news. My application was sent on 26 August from within Canada and hope that I also get the news soon

no,it simply means CIC has started transferring your file to your Local VO.
The background checks will be done AFTER the file reaches local VO

Wait for a week more. The pattern we are observing is pretty random.cic maybe sending per as per charged date. In which case you should be hearing from them next week.
In the meatask your consultant to check his mail properly including his junk folder

I'm really worried as even an 25th August applicant hs received PER!

Dear seniors,
I have following queries on the next steps of processing, i received PER on 04th december2014.
1. The LVO compulsory verify with the employers for the experience letters we have submitted. If so the level of depth of verification will be to an extent of duties as well or just employment details confirmation only.
2. If the medical reports shows any minor infections in blood samples or urine samples will that be an issue.
3. Usually once the VISA is issued, what is the validity of this to land into canada. As i have some personal activities to be finished before i can think about flying, Even if i get visa may be in another 6 months say by June, i will not be able to travel until next December.
4. what is the good time to land into canada for a family with children and their education point of view.
5. About the opportunities in canada where can i look for. I am looking for opportunities in "embedded software development for telecom and networking companies".
Experts pls advise on all these points as your views are very important here.
