1123? Advertising and Marketing?

Please tell me you are mistaken. In December, CIC's official site showed it at 385 apps out of 1,000 cap.

Can someone with the same NOC 1123 call to double check!!

Hi SMron,

I recall it to be 482+340=822 application already received under NOC 1123 (Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations) on 16 Dec cic update (the last one!) Please double check.

Yes that was the Dec 16 update. But still my app reached the CIO in Sydney on Dec 15 so shouldn't it be already included in that count (822)?

Just got to know that all calls via Skype to mobiles and landlines in the United States and Canada are absolutely free for a limited time until 1-Mar-15 form India.

Yeh but the bad thing as far as I know about US and Canadian phone contract system is that they charge even for incoming calls, and international INCOMING calls are charged at even higher rate. Because of this I think it'd still prolly be cheaper to buy a India calling card and call home than to receive FREE calls! ;)

Alhamdulillah, Thanks be to ALLAH
I just received the most ever welcomed PER email 30 minutes ago.
Thanks to all friends here, I hope the best for all, especially who still waiting the first positive step.

No that was not Dec 16 update, The website was last updated on Dec 16 !

The update was of which date is not mentioned anywhere on cic website, so its all speculative, different people have different ideas about the update date, some says the update was up to mid Oct because at that very point in time, mid Oct people were being charged, some says it was mid Nov and a few even says it was of up to late Sept. So its all speculative. You keep the faith, you might get included, nobody knows the real numbers !

Suggest you should prepare for plan B as well (EE), God forbid !

All the best bro !

Ali

hi all,
will they consider my past work experience if they r not satisfied with my current experience coz of problem during back ground verification.even if they
dont consider my current one i have sufficient points. reply plz

They will consider any experience within the past 10 years so long as you meet the basic eligibility requirements. It doesn't have to be your current work. However if they do verification and are unable to verify, they may suspect misrepresentation. They may ask you for additional information or for an interview or something like that. If they conclude that there was misrepresentation it doesn't matter how many points an applicant scores, that will be a rejection.

I dont believe that its a good idea to state "While filing the application I was on leave but did not resume service for personal reasons, hence my last date of service was taken into account. Attached is my experience letter for your reference. I am currently evaluating three job offers."

Just mention you quit cmp A and you are between Jobs. Reasons only adds complication in this case.

Also at the start of the enquiry please Mention you Name/DOB/UCI/ApplicationNumber/Passport Number

Best of Luck..

Excellent points. +1
