Hello everyone
I just received PER mail. Now I am waiting for MR. I was planning to get marry this year in november. But now I thought to get marry in April.
I am doing this so that I can avoid delay later while sponsoring her.So I plan to get married now before MR and then when VO asks for update info I provide her info also. And this way i can also add her to my app n take her with me
If I marry and provide document proof and pictures of nikah (Legal Marriage Document in pakistan) is it enough to add my spouse to the FSW application.?

Anyone has experience with such scenario.? is documented proof enough? or I have to give all sorts of pictures like honey moon etc etc etc.. coz I aint planning any of tht coz I am not getting leave from job much.

You have to send in a video of you and your wife consummating the marriage. ;D

Ok here's the real answer: You will need to inform your VO of the marriage. They will then instruct you on the necessary documents. You will need to provide/update all documents as if your wife had been on your application from the beginning--new generic form, new family information form for yourself and your wife, new background declarations for yourself and your wife, new travels form, her birth certificate, pictures, her security information/PCCs, her passport and ID copies, and anything else they ask for. They will then do background/security checks on her and ask for her MR. It will delay your application, but it shouldn't be a problem as long as you follow all instructions carefully. But do you mean that I should fill out the blank spaces on the receipt before sending to CIC.I am not referring to the data asked while making the payment.I am asking about after the whole process is completed and the system has generated the receipt. The space for date of birth,address and client ID are blank.

If you have submitted PCC earlier with Application then 3 Months

If PCC were submitted with Medical then 4 Months

Do you think doing this and adding her after MR is the right way to deal with it? She has passport but she has no IELTS.
I know it will delay my application !

It'll be more convenient than sponsoring her later. She doesn't need IELTS, you already made the pass mark without it.

Is it mandatory for VO to verify all the applicants or they choose it randomly... coz i have not heard anything from my organization or HR team about any verification from VO side..

Either randomly or if they suspect anything irregular or untrue.

Hi All,

I have applied under 2172 Database analysts and data administrators category.

Appl recvd on oct 6th, Credit card charged on Dec 16th but i have received any PER mail yet.

Is there anyone who haven't recieved PER mail ever afer 2 months of CC charge/DD encash.

Please let me know if there is any way to figure out.

It took me about 7 weeks from DD cashing to PER.

Hey, try calling CIC to get the UCI number.

You can use Google hangout to make free calls to Canada.

- Call at – 0016139444000
- Select 1 for English
- 1 for immigration
- 1 for immigration (again)
- Call is being transferred to CIC
- Then 1 for English
- 2 for status
- 1 for PR
- When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
- Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

Not all agents are helpful, so if one denies you request, try again and hope the next one assists.

Good advice, and from what I've seen on the forum they seem to be a little kinder about giving out UCIs lately.

Hello,

I would appreciate any insight because the anxiety is reflecting on my physical well being.

I have managed to apply on December 15th 2014 for FSW, under Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations (NOC 1123).

According to DHL, someone at the designated address (CIC in Nova Scotia) has received my file.

But since then I have received no confirmation or any sort of message from CIC or any other party regarding the status of my application. I am not even sure if they actually received it (although DHL has a signed reception report confirming it).

Any idea how can I follow it up? Should I be more patient? The cheque which I sent and my credit card are both not processed for the fee yet.

Does the lack of communication mean I failed?

It's probably too early for you to get a charge. In the next few weeks. They don't send you any communication until PER which could be a couple more months. Stressful isn't it? But we've all gone through it. Hope you find a way to relax.

Good news from my end. Received my PPR on 11-Feb-2014. Sent my passports today. Sorry I was not able to update the forum as I had forgotten my password and the password retrieval was not working.
I have updated the spreadsheet. I created a new entry as I had the last the edit link. Admins, if you find duplicate entries of mine please delete others

FSW 2013 application-
01 October 2010 to 4th july 2013(application recieved date at CIC) - is also not 3 years (2 years 9 month)
27th November 2013 CIC send me NER- mentioning 11 points are assigned for 3 years work experience(01 october 2010 to present date)

FSW 2014 application-

its not matter of points. this time application has been returned. application did not reach the point Assessment stage.
if it reached the point assessment stage then
01 October 2010 to 17th september 2014 (application received date at CIC) is also not 4 years (3 years 11 months 15 days)
if CIC assign me even 11 points for 3 years , I have also Adaptability 10 points (my wife IELTS and 2 years of her canadian education)



Last year my application received date was 4th july 2013.
And I got NER on 27th November 2013 in which they mentioned I was assigned 11 points for my 3 years work experience (01 October 2010 to present date ).

This year my application received date was 17th September 2014.
And I got my application returned, not NER. Just to correct you that my application did not reach to point assessment stage. CIC assess the points after Fees charging which is the last step.

Step 1 - Basic Eligibility criteria (1 year full time work experience in the intended NOC occupation in last 10 years )

As this stage my FSW 2014 application is returned by considering incomplete. It is not refused. MY FSW 2013 application passed this stage.

Step 2- Minimum Eligibility Criteria (EDUCAtion must assess by authorised agency and IELTS 6 each )

At this stage my FSW 2014 application did not reach . My FSW 2013 application passed this stage.

Step 3- Point grid sytem
At this stage my FSW 2014 application did not reach. MY FSW 2013 application reached at this stage after charging my fees.

And My FSW 2013 application got refused because i Scored 61 points only.

I see the distinction, but can you tell me how you know your 2014 application did not even pass the first stage?

2 or 3 years is the same number of points. 4 years is more points, but it must be 4 years and not one day less. But if you got 10 for adaptability that shouldn't matter. What exactly does your letter say?
