If you can access ECAS and see change mailing address feature under your contact information, it means that they considered you an inland applicant and your VO is Ottawa. Otherwise it's NDVO.

Amazing.. (I see myself getting addicted to this forum again)... I do see the "update your mailing address option". Would this mean the processing could be faster, I might get PCC request sooner. I'm not sure if I'm expecting to see this next step sooner or not!!

The average MR/PCC/RPRF waiting time is about 35 days. NDVO takes 45-60 days for that.

Hello NDVO's

Currently which date PER applicants are receiving MR & PCC. request ?

You are most welcome ::) If you apply for any PCCs try to get some sort of proof of application with the issuing authority. It can be used to request extension.

Hi All,

I was called to hospital for second time(first visit BP >140/90 limit) for Cardio opinion(Fortunately normal BP and no further test was suggested by the specialist ).

Hospital has uploaded the file yesterday.

Now we are done with medicals and PCC.

Should we pay RPRF now or wait for Medical update in Ecas ?

is Update happens only after sending the medical receipt ?

You don't have to send medical receipt at all. It's 100% sure. I would recomend paying RPRP ASAP though.

Hi Diplomatru,
I'm surprised to learn this.
as I'm now working in Canada, the residence address I give in my application is in Canada, but I selected HongKong as my local visa office, Now you are saying that if I see address change option in my ECAS, it means they changed my VO to Ottawa?

Should I consider NDVO anymore as I see the 'update your mailing address' option on my ECW's status. Can I safely assume myself to be inland applicant now and go with average processing time of 35 days??

why?!

I have calculated my points.... and without any job experience I already get 445 points!!! isn't that high enough?

I have 8.5 8.5 8.5 8.5 in IElts

I am 28 years old

I have a doctorate degree

My wife has 7.5 Ielts + PHD

I have CLB 8 French

I've almost got all the points in different categories

I don't lack enough points...

Does it mean that hey won't nominate me?

Don't they have to nominate individuals with higher points firsT?

As has been pointed out earlier, it seems that CIC will also add a minimum criterion for being considered eligible to be in the express entry pool. This might prevent people with no experience from applying. But, you are correct in that foreign work experience will matter very little in this system. And as for what is high enough, I don't know the answer. It will likely always depend on the pool of applicants at any given time.

Hi

Does anybody know, If I have to get my medicals done from USA (california) , what is the waiting time for the appointment?

Depends on the clinic/physician. Why don't you call panel physicians around the area and find out their waiting time directly?

Hi,
Yes, your VO is Ottawa.

The Step 1 – Check if you are eligible to change your address online

You can use the online service if:

your case is being processed in Canada
your address is in Canada

you are moving within three weeks or have already moved
You must also have either:
sponsored a member of the family class,
applied for permanent residence from within Canada,
applied for a Permanent Resident Card,
applied for Canadian citizenship (for yourself or for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen),
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship),
applied to renounce or resume Canadian citizenship, or
applied for a search of the citizenship records.
