I stayed in different cities in India... Like Mumbai for 1,year, Calcutta for 2 years, Chennai for 2 years.... Do I need to collect PCC from all 3 past cities and present city Bangalore?.... Or submitting PCC from Bangalore alone will do the things........ Your suggestion will be appropriated........ Not to forget I am from Nepal....really facing tuff difficulties filling the forms......

Shall I fill not travelled for supplementary form as I travelled only Nepal and India......
Shall I fill my status for current country of residence I.e. India = free migrant as per treaty.... Or indo Nepal treaty..... Or permanent residence...... Please reply soon I am planning to send the app by Friday......

One PCC for whole of India is sufficient. As per me it's better you mention your travel history to India. Though country of residence is India, you will be a citizen of Nepal. So, its better you mention these details.

i saw a couple of dudes claiming that they checked their ECAS while waiting for the PER... may I know how can one check it before getting any identification document from CIC? or they might be old applicants having old UCI numbers etc?

hi all...As you know i got my visa...now last date of my visa is 28th Jan 2015...So I am planning to Land in mid Jan with my wife and two small kids...I will not be resigning from my job...I can take max 3 months leave...So my plan is:if I get a job in 3 months I will stay in Canada...else I will continue my life in India...So I want to use these 3 months very carefully...

I have two options..
1.Land in Calgary which is good for my profession(Chemical Eng.) and stay there for 3 months
But i have heard that Job openings are closed in Jan and Feb
Also, as I will not be having my own car initially, travel for attending interviews,house search,getting groceries will be difficult in extreme weather of Calgary

2. Land in Vancouver and return in 15 days and then again come back and land in Calgary in may and stay for 2.5 months
Vancouver is not good for my profession, there is little chance of getting a job there. but as its weather is good I think its better for a short landing with two small kids.Then in May 2015, I can come back alone and land in calgary, stay there for 2.5 months and find a job

I wanted to know that do the VO count 1st med's date for issuing visa? like in ur case ur 1st med's were in jan'14 n ur visa is valid till jan'15 but u also gave 2nd meds in august-september but they dint count that date.
so in that case we can do one more thing, just tell VO that we will do med's only after baby is born all family members than visa date would be extended?

Hello People,

One of the best mornings for me as my CC got charged today

M a 25Aug applicant NOC 2171....got a call @7.30am from HDFC Hyd for confirmation of debit and within seconds a debit message was there in my inbox...thanks everyone in the forum,I appreciate senior members for their round the clock dedication and support to others.

It is really strange to see that CIC is processing applications on selective basis, which is in complete denial of their own rule book.

It means that selected few will get visa within 3-4 months of application, while unfortunate others will be getting it in a much longer time.

I have applied under 0121, and i was making lot of predictions about when my cc will be charged. I now believe it is of no use, as no one knows when CIC will be looking upon "cold" occupations like mine. (Or whether they will even be looking upon them..!!)

I think I should now start thinking of alternatives to Canada FSW, rather than relying upon most unpredictable "CIC".

However, heartiest congrats to those whose cc has been charged! May your dream come true !!

Latest DD encashed:15 July
Latest PER: 16 July
Total CIC Apps: 8101
Note:CIC is working on selective charging and as such do not panic
if your CC is not charged yet even if you are July applicants.Rate of charging is high for
NOC 2171,2173 & 1112 as compared to others.July applicants should relax as you are
still in the game .

11/10/2014 CITIZENSHIP & IMM FS Other Services $1,092.13

Just confirmed calling CC company and they did mentioned that transaction is indeed from Sydney, Canada.

Ideally the bank doesn't ask for this....but since they have asked u can tell them that the merchant is "CITIZENSHIP & IMM FSW"
Mine was charged just 3 hours back
