This seems to be an AOR from CIO. Not the AOR from visa office. So you should expect a PER mail sometime later. PER mail includes "... Determined positive eligibility review..." phrase and a receipt number regarding the application fee.

I haven't heard before that CIO sent AOR, that is confusing. The answer is in the text.

After CIO completes checking, sends a PER mail and transfers the application to a visa office. Then preferably the visa office sends an AOR after receiving, or not. That depends.

Received my PER email 30 Oct
Applicant July 4
NOC 1111
DD cashed on 22 Oct. However, on my follow-up with the issuing bank i was replied in -ve.

Some minor mistakes were:
1. Stapled forms;
2. Did not mention names in native language;
3. Did not put the bar coded pages on top of the generic form

A difficult area was that the experience letter did not mention working hours and job duties. However, i attached an email from HR stating that they can only provide such letters on employees exit and if i really needed the letter i should inform them the purpose so that the organization gets ready for probable outcomes. I provided an explanation referring to the email and, therefore, requested CIC to accept my letter given by the Company. Also attached yearly appraisals and pay slip.

Best of luck to everyone awaiting there PERs'. Keep your spirits high while not letting go of patience. Now updating the SS.

Sorry to hear that from you. Could you please elaborate a little bit about the duties you included. Did you include them all ? Part of them? Did you follow NOC 2011? Please advise. thanks.

Can anyone share their experience with Indian PCC from PSK where police verification is required? I applied today and they sent it to SP office for verification. They are saying it will take 7 to 10 days for verification, and I am traveling to the US next week

Anyone tried getting PCC from SP/ DSP/ Commissioner/ ACP/ DCP office? Pls share who you approached and how you got it.

I got it done from Police Commissioner's office, as well as PSK (Bangalore).

The one that Police Commissioner's office gives has ur address, date from when u are living at that address, reason for applying for the PCC etc... Due to some issues with those dates, my consultant suggested me to get a new one from PSK.

I applied at PSK on 21st Oct, and got it on 25th.

You will be contacted by your local police station. They will either visit you at your address or they will ask you to go to the police station. Either ways, just request them to process it fast, provide all the documents that they ask you to (along with photographs). If they do their part of the job promptly, the rest of the process is very smooth.

Received the Passport with Visa stamping today.

I greatly appreciate all the inputs from members in this forum. It helped us move on through each stage of process and we learned from your experience. Thank you all for contributing in one way or the other. I greatly appreciate the moderator of this forum, for creating a wonderful platform.

I take this Opportunity to share my experience and timeline in short for all your reference,

About me: Indian Citizen on H1B in California, US.

Year 2013 : Applied through an attorney in Ottawa, Category 2132. Due to back and forth communication, document delivery and delayed response from attorney, the quota was filled before the application was delivered to CIC.

Year 2014 : Decided to apply on our own. My wife worked hard in getting all minute details from various sources.

a. Prepared all necessary documentations like IELTS, WES Credentials, PCC, FBI Clearance and bank statements.

b. Applied on May 5th, as we monitored for any update in the application forms.

c. Application received by CIC, on May 7th. Provided CC for payment.

d. CC charged on Jun 19th.

e. PER received on Aug 8th.

f. Local VO started processing on Aug 29th. Same day received MR and request to update the dependants personal history from age 18 (originally given for past 10 years), updated bank statement & RPRF

g. Medical taken on Sep 12th, report received by CPC on Sep 23rd

h. Received Passport request on Sep 30th. Sent the same on Oct 6th, received by CPC on Oct 7th.

i. Received a request on Oct 23rd to send the Canadapost xPressslip (though original sent along with passport) and to follow the instruction.

j. Received passport today, Oct 30th with Visa stamped on Oct 16th.

Altogether it took 6 months to complete the process. My sincere thanks to all members of this forum and good luck to all who are waiting for the good news.

I have doubts over DHL courier service, i believe they delay in service ,delivery date mentioned online is not the true .

Also , please confirm that sending ur application at PO BOX # have any problem in receiving ?

Im Confused , even i email CIC it will take 30 days to reply back .

did u asked them about ur file through email?
if yes, then 101% this is not PER mail...

Dear Seniors

I have a query. I got statutory declaration (Sponsorship) made from my aunt on 23 October 2013. As I were told by a frnd dat this document is valid for 1 year. And i got my PER mail on 23 October 2014 and my file will be transferred to NDVO. Can Local Visa Office i.e. NDVO ask for a recent sponsorship document. Should I ask my Aunt to get it made . As she is coming to India next month and will be staying here for 4-5 Months
Plz help me clear my doubt............

Hi experts,

I have some confusion wishing to seek for your advice.

I applied for Quebec SW in Sep2012 because at that time the FSW did not have my Marketing NOC. I got AOR in Feb2013 and did not hear anything more from Quebec.

Then in May 2014, FSW reopened Marketing NOC and I quickly sent another application. When I chose the Economic + Skilled Worker in the form IMM0008ENU, question #7 "Did you apply for Quebec SW" went grey and I was not allowed to fill in that part.

The thing is that: I received the CSQ by post, and also Passport request for my FSW application yesterday. Two good news at the same time.

My questions are:
- Do I have to inform Singapore VO that I got CSQ but prefer FSW ?
- If I don't inform them, will I be accused for fraud/lying because I did not mention I applied for QSW in the form ?
- If I inform SVO, will it affect the FSW's decision ?
- Do I need inform Quebec to cancel the CSQ ?

Thank you so so much. I'm scratching my head.
