i have filed application for NOC:2281 which was received at CIO on 3-Aug-14 but till now i didn't get any response !!!

pl share if anything of concern that can cause the delay ??

Please kindly wait and have some patience right now the CIC is taking care of till MAY 16 applicant. You need to wait for ur turn.

There is no delay bro. CIC are currently reviewing apps submitted about 20th May and below. Just be a bit more patient. They'll probably pick up August submissions in November or December.

That's because CIO are still busy going thru May applications, at the moment they are up to 20 May applications.

Hello dear all,

A question about job history on schedule 3 form. When it comes to "Main duties" is it alright to copy main duties from "Human Resources and Skills Development Canada
www.hrsdc.gc.ca" (those which are identical to what I have done at work)? Or one shouldn't copy from the website?

It should have the duties which are in your reference letter from employer...

Most people here reported that it took them around a month to reply.

Will it be good idea to Apply for FSW 2014 now. or should i go for next year.
As i will be able to send the application by NOV 2014 first week.

Category that I will applying to is "2173 Software engineers and designers "


Also Please answer this if you have any idea

1) What is last date for FSW 2014 application
2) starting date for Express entry for 2015.
3) should i go for 2014 or 2015. as the file will take 2-3 months to return if incase it is rejected/ cap fulled.


I woke up a little late, But it still seems a good option to me.

Congrats to all those who got their PER mails and their CC/DD cashed.

Its 12:30pm in Lagos and 8:30am in Nova Scotia.

May CIC work quickly today and close out the week with a big bang of PER's and funds cashing.

I got a reply to my mail after 42 days :-X :-X

Although I agree that this might be a good tool. I trust nothing that would possibly store my applications details. UCI and file Number etc. are confidential details and should not be shared with non-official tools or sites.

Yes exactly, we can not use any unidentified apps, if it was published by CIC then surely that would have been safe...

2. Express entry 2015 opens on 1st January 2015.

So, these 2 different programs will run concurrently after 1st January 2015 until 30 April 2015 when FSW 2014 closes, Express entry will replace FSW thereafter.

As per last yr, NDVO has started to send MR/PPR on full phase from Nov 13...

So now u can guess urself...

For the LVO applicants, most of them are rcving VISA right now or from two month earlier (actual flow)...

So u may assume its 12-14 months processing time as per current trend...
