Plus if the actual # of applications received are substantially lesser than the target #s, it is good in a way for those who get through eventually. Less competition for same jobs later on (although this is subjective, will face completion from local candidates). ::)

I agree with you that they cannot compromise on the quality of applications getting through .....but neither shud they count on the possibility of receiving less applications than the target....'coz i think the target wud have been set in response to industry demand in order to atleast sustain if not boosting their economy......so both Quality & Target numbers are imp.....I think they just need to analyze trade-off between Long Processing Times & Cost of hiring more officers to process apps in time.......

if u ask me, if they compromise on Processing Times they defeat the purpose of responding to Industry Demand........

But unfortunately, CIC is not asking me :P ..it seems for them saving additional Cost of Hiring more CIC Officers is more important...may be 'coz like our Ministry of External Affairs won't spend more for Finance Ministry or IT Ministry interests. :-)

Yes above highlighting is fine. A yellow highlighter never comes in a photo copy anyway so document is not 'tampered' by it. They can copy and make an 'original photocopy' so to say.

The alarm bells should ring when.. In the same NOC, if your CC is not charged and if CC's of day after app's are getting charged.

What is your basis for saying this? We can't really know if that's true.

I am not sure, but PCC at PSK is walk in and you get it in 2 hours...why arent you opting for it...It takes just Rs500

I didn't notarize anything except one employment reference letter than was not on company letterhead. Everything else was not notarized. My DD has been cashed.

Yes, your funds/assets can be anywhere in the world so long as you have access to the money. Bank statements are enough, that's what I provided.
 
Hello every body...would you please tell me how can we prove that our job experience is real??only by taking a certificate from the company that i used to work ?and about the checklis number 20,i use my sisters visa card and she scand it and sent it back to me,which one should i choose?original or copy??

Its too early to check for DD in cash for 8th. By mid next week it be cleared for most of us.
