In the excel spreadsheet, there are total of 1465 apps recorded, out of which over 900 were sent in the month of May only! Of those about 900 sent in May, 650 (over 2/3rd) were sent on or before May 15th itself.

So the point I'm making is that we can expect dates to move forward twice as much faster once they finish processing PER of apps received by May 15th.

I just want to double check whether my fee is charged or not. I see my ECAS showing as We have received you PR application on 7th May and status is inprocess. does it mean that they have already encashed the DD ?? i have not taken the DD from a bank, the DD is from cox n kings, so its a bit tough to get the status of the DD

First congrats if you are able to login to ECAS. Because only successful people are able to login.
Keep checking your email also. Even sometimes it goes to SPAM/JUNK folders.

Are we sure CIC will be able to process all 25000 applications by year end or before May'2015 ?
If they took 2 months for 505 applications...then they're gonna take arnd 8 yrs for 25000 applications....

Or, are we expecting that 25000 applications will not come (with current speed, even for 6000 apps it will take 2yrs)....

Or, are we expecting some magic where CIC will suddenly start processing 2500 applications per month in order to complete FSW2014 before May'2015 (ideally it shud get it done before commencement of Express Entry in Jan'15)......i don't know how probable is tht...

I heard few years back Canadian PR used to take 2-3 yrs....is CIC moving towards tht in its final year of FSW ?

Yes....We can say that.
I have an exception of a buddy of mine whose bank still says his DD is yet to be charged while his ECAS is already showing that the application has been received ;D
I believe that 99% DD with ECAS updates have been encashed.

I think that might be becasuse that his bank has not received the information yet ... Judging by my review of the procedure at CIC (someone here posted a link to that) .. an application is put into process after the fees has been charged.

Yes OR No
Keep in mind excel sheet represent only 15% of worldwide applicants ....so if it happens like this that many applicants didn't enter details in excel who are after 15th May applicants , then your prediction might get wrong.

See classic example of 2013 , forum last CC/dd charge was 2-3 months before as compare to actual month when NOC get full.

Yes, its already delivered actually, was checking if I needed to resend it. Not sure if minute details would cause rejection, don't want to miss seeing you guys in Canada, so double checking. Yes it has English, Just checked, our Indian passports are also made the same way.....

Yes , CIC holds the capability of processing 25,500 applications for the program year 2014-2015 , that's why they set the limit. ;D ;D
Your second assumption is also right , 25,500 applications won't come. When top 10 hot NOC's get fill by 1000 , then number of applications will be less for processing for CIC.

I feel that only HOT NOC guys having good crowd , once cap for top 10 Hot NOC's or top 5 hot NOC get fill , Work would be easy for CIC.
New time line year 2014 for Visa offices as processing time is yet to announce by CIC.

You will see within this month or next month , Cap updation will get frequent , then picture will get more clear that time.

206 posts royston -- have you already posted your application?? My degree had both english and hindi and WES and CIC both accepted it without translation. But my degree has word to word mapping of hindi and english.

Another Silly question,

I used a flourescent marker to mark some important information in copies of proof of funds..like the final figure of my MF statements , etc
Also highlighted my DOB in my birth certificate copy.

But the highlighting was done, not exactly on the information, but below in the blank space as I didnt wanna show any tampering being done to the value, but wanted to highlight the required information. Hope this is fine. Checking just in case.

Actually I'm counting on YOU to offer me a decent job @ Canada. So you can't miss seeing us in there. Why else do you think CIC is also getting HR managers from abroad in to Canada? To help their fellow colleagues in this transition!

Hopefully your wish comes true.....that would ensure me in Canada with a job....

I guess, it should not impact your case...
but it was not required.....as their CIC officer's eyes are perfect in capturing the required information from piece of paper as they have thousands of applications scanned thorough it and they knows what information they require need to find which corner of paper.
