Why is it that last year applicant CCs were charged two months after receiving the application and whereas this year its only one month's wait?

Yes i agree with Rohan....Now I am almost fed up the 3rd time , the way Canada handles applicants....is really disgusting...(even a small form mistake would make one out of race) Rather they should follow the approach other countries use to get immigrants....like online system..well! this is my personal point of view...

Its because they are introducting express entry in Jan 2015. So they will try to clear backlog before Jan 2015

Send a attested photocopy of the original along with a letter mentioning that you had submitted ur originals along with your previous applications on for 2014 intake and have not yet received a refusal letter/it is still in process

You will be able to access ECAS after 3-4 days.

Can some one please share the CIC email ID where we can send for getting UCI number. I have not yet received my last year package.

Leave it mate - UCI is not mandatory. CIC will find out themself.

Has anyone received a NER, as opposed to a PER? Ah, why am I asking? No one reports about a NER. Never mind..

CIC doesn't e-mail applicants who receive NER. They just send back the application by snail mail.
