Hi All

I have one query regarding IELTS Original Copy


1) I have applied in fsw13 for noc 2147 , at that time I have sent IELTS Original Copy with My Application. What is the way out to get another COPY of IELTS Result Sheet ?

Note :: I have not got any reply regarding 2013 application status.

Please help.

In Additional Family Information (IMM 5406), it is written, Complete ALL names in English and your native language.

Now, my native language in Hindi. So I need to send 2 forms ? One in English and one in Hindi ?

Seniors its a valid question. Please help. Application Guide has no mention of Native language. However, form has it written at the top as indicated by rohan

1. should be 21 for one course after post secondary.

Education Points

Doctoral (PhD) level 25

University-level credential at the Master's level OR an entry-to-practice professional degree. CIC only accepts as an entry-to-practice professional degree, those degrees issued in relation to an occupation listed at NOC Skill level A and for which licensing by a provincial regulatory body is required, in one of the following fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine; Dentistry; Podiatry; Optometry; Law; Chiropractic Medicine and Pharmacy. 23

Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials is for the completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer 22

Post-secondary program credential of three years or longer 21

Two-year post-secondary program credential 19

One-year post-secondary program credential 15

Secondary school (also called high school) 5

My ECA says 4 years degree as per Canadian standard. I am confused. will I get 21 or 22 points?

Do we need to mention hours per week worked in the experience letter. Full time means 8 hours per day, shouldn't this be sufficient.

My employer says he will mention full time employment but will not mention the hours as it is against the policy. According to him fulltime means 40 hours and they will not mention this explicitly.

Normally you can request the IELTS ogranization (British Council / IDP) to directly send the IELTS test sheet to CIC (they will charge some 1500+ rupees for this). But, as you said you have already sent the original to CIC, so please mention this in your cover letter and send a notorized copy. You can additionally mention that another original copy is on the way and CIC will receive it directly from (BC/IDP)

Most of the corporate companies will not mention hours, for them full time means 40 hours... They want to play safe, as people can claim later that they worked more than 40 hours, which in software industry is a norm man ytimes.

Ha ha.. You are right. But my current employer specified 45 hours per week and past employer did not specify hours per week ..just full time employee
