I need some help regarding the name in Generic application form 'coz I am not using "Surname" in the passport. Should I write complete Given Name in the Surname and leave the GIven Name field blank? or can it be like a part of Given Name in Surname field and the rest in Given Name?

You can put your given name in surname column....

hi all I got uci number when I called to cic but when I tried to know my status in site It was showing that we are not able to recognize you
What does it mean and when it will show application was in process

U can show proof of fund with ur spouse name....No issue with that....

but there might be another issue....Tht is -u have already provided ur bank acc details , but if Local VO want to verify without asking pof proof then they will get less balance....Although they will ask for the proof on that time...(they dont reject files for this issue on this stage ...)...

So u will have to think for this issue also ...

My suggestion----Since u are from lucky Visa office--NDVO then u can expect ur file will be processed within 10-12 months....

So u can mercy that 1500 bucks for the time being (I hope this will be one yrs only...)...

Then u will need not to be worried for any issue...

I just removed all sum (few lakh) from my my wife's one account to another account of her just to better manage finance with nationalised bank.

If NDVO will provide me some time to prove my finance once again ?

I am planning to apply for FSW 2014 under NOC4011. At present I do not have all the necessary papers. So I have to apply in September (around 2nd week). I am confused about the number of applications already accepted and the probable number of applications in queue. Is there any possibility of my application being accepted if I apply so late?

Don't waste your energy in thinking...use your energy in gathering documents...
Just forget the result... But u should concentrate on your hard work/efforts...

Its not predefined and do check randomly.....

If they find any mismatch, dont worry they will ask for POF...

Then u can send further details and docs for POF...

just a suggestion here... because there so many new members joining in the forum everyday.... and without reading previous posts..

they just throw their queries in the forum.... had they read previous posts, it must have been answered there only...

but as it is not happening that way...

my humble request to all senior and most active forum members here that..

Plz create a separate thread such as FAQs for FSWP 2014... and let it to be a master database for all the queries an solutions regarding FSWP 2014...

so , if a query is raised here... it can be surely answered here.. but the same can be captured in that thread also...

which will facilitate the process of finding relevant info much easier in case of it is in separate thread..

Buddy, 6th May applicants are getting PER, so they are legitimate to show status on their PER....

So please wait for ur turn....

Hello Friends. I have a question.

While an application is still at CIC (i.e. awaiting CC/DD charge or awaiting PER) and in this duration if a candidate manages to secure offer of employment in Canada, then:
1. Can the candidate inform CIC and get his application amended to include and consider the offer of employment?
2. And in such cases, where offer of employment in Canada is available or gets secured after PR application is sent, how much time will it take for CIC to process PR.. 1 month, 2 months or more?

Let me know you opinion or web links where I can get more details.

You must understand that CIC will access/process your application package based on the information you supply with it.This means you can not amend your application at the application stage as they will access you based on the information that accompany your package.
I will prefer that you send another new application with your offer of employment and possibly disable your credit card to make it impossible for CIC to charge you.

I have decided that i will keep the amount in my name itself just to play extremely safe.... And grhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to CIC for not starting PER mails for rest of 6th and all of 7th may applicants...

Any one in this forum applied / planning to apply from Qatar?

As you know, getting information from banks here is hectic....and they don't give correct information also...

What is the validity of DD from Qatar banks?
Is there any private organisations issuing DD in Qatar?
Is the CCs are allowed for online / international transactions?

I'm worried about giving CC as payment term option, as banks here keep on changing policies which may result in rejection of payment...

Pls visit thomos Cook... They issue dd with 6 months validity

Scenario one....If your CC/DD has been charged/encashed...Just be patient for your information to be loaded on ECAS server.
Scenario 2.....If your CC/DD is yet to be encashed,there will be no information or update on your ECAS status.
