For RPRF, if you sending it locally, it will be 3 months validity. I dont think, there is an option of 6 months validity in local DD. In my case, the HDFC DD, had "Valid for 3 month" as part of the fixed format in the draft.

is it not better to send DD in CAD??

and how long does it take to clear this DD in CAD?? any idea??

does paying RPRF via DD delays the process anyway??

One of the NDVO rep contacted me for some Passport related information. From the discussion, my feel of things is that the next wave of plp migrating is being planned for Mar/Apr. So the PPR request more or likely can be delayed till first half of Feb, while NDVO is addressing other priorities.

Its only a hunch. The NDVO rep was very professional to not to give out any direct information.

Hope NDVO proves me wrong about this

For the queries on the nature of the call. My Passport was expiring before completion of one year frm MR taken date. So the gentleman from NDVO called to suggest i should renew my passport, it would save me from a hassle of shortened Entry window and also there is complexity with VISA being stamped on the present passport and then i decide to renew my passport.

Simply write as under:-

Enquiry about status of FSW-2014 NOC-0113 Application Submitted on 19th Dec 2014 by DHL Airway Bill No.12345

Just change as per your NOC.

Hi Experts,

Need help and urgent advise.

I applied for PR under FSW-2014 and in MR stage currently.

I never visited Canada before, but due to some urgent business requirement my company asking me to apply Canadian visa and visit canada for few days on this assignment.

So, Please suggest on below queries

1. If i apply Canadian visa through company would it will impact my current FSW application ?
2. In case no, do i have to disclose about current FSW application to my company while applying visa which certainly i don't want to at this stage

Do you remember that how many applications were passted through completeness check and how many have been issued PER as per last update of CIC on 16th December. 2014, then i can provide you some guess.

Thanks George for your special activity today.
On 16 Dec the first column indicated 700 and the second one indicated 207. But nobody was sure exactly what was the status of the 207 applicants. Were they charged? waiting to be charged? did they include october applicants. For example I myself 22nd october applicants and many others who are 20 and even 16 are not yet charged. . their reply to my email on Dec 17 showed that there is no record on data base yet for me. another forumite of 22nd october has called them last week and they said still no UCI for him.Any inference from this please. Thanks.
