I received AOR from Colombo Visa Office today, 13th Feb 2015

Visa Office selected in app: NDVO
App Rcv date: 9th Oct 2014
CC: 18th Dec 2014
PER: 15th Jan 2015
NOC 2133

Anybody who's file has been transferred to Colombo Visa Office?

Can you help me the typical timeline of Colombo visa office?

the Colombo VO's official processing time as per CIC site is 12 months much better compared to NDVO and processing time based on FSW 2014 applicant time line is 7 months better relative to 8 months of NDVO....

as you are a July applicant your file must be at NDVO only... till date only OCT applicant has posted messages about getting other VOs

whats your ECAS status? (in case need help go to https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas then select Client ID number/Unique Client Identifier, enter your UCI no received as part of PER mail and fill up others details...

Even my case is also similar

I got an AOR from warsaw,Poland . ..i selected NDVO in my application

What does it mean? Is it a mistake? Or some plan of CIC?
What will happen now, anyone else got AOR from Poland?

Till date only Oct applicant had reported AOR from VO other VO even while selecting NDVO in the form, you are the first one being Sep applicant...


Don't worry there are many people like you who have been routed to a less occupied VO, the problem is its as slow as NDVO...

I am in the same condition as many in this group. My application was received on dec 10th and according to the charts and I should be already charged in my credit card, but nothing till now.

Since We are not able to check our status with the CIC if we haven´t even been charged yet, I suggest that if someone knows about a NOC 2133 applicant who has been rejected because the cap is reached, it would be very helpful to know his application date. I say this, because in a previous post, there is a status of a NOC 1111 applicant who was rejected being from Nov 19th. If we use this a referential, NOC 1111 and NOC 2133 were very similar in numbers.
Another suggestion: Does anybody has the last updated table with all NOC pending applicants, waiting for MI acceptance and NOC reached. I have looked for it everywhere and I just can´t find it.

There's no report of app returned due to cap reached yet. The data you need with all other nocs can be found in global spreadsheet..
1111Canada looks fake. you cant have him as a basis.

im new here. just a little enquiry. i sent in my submission for NOC 2133 on the 24th of December 2014 but it was only delivered by UPS on the 2nd of January 2015. my CC has still not been charged and my application has not been returned yet. do I have a chance?

The latest charging for 2133 happened for 12th Nov (DD) in the month of Jan. Post that no charging is reported.
No one is sure, if our NOC has reached the CAP or there is any other reason for this HOLD in charging.

I'm 24th Nov applicant and not charged yet. I hope we will get some clarity by end of this month or early next month.

Sorry buddy, but I dont see a chance for app delivered on 2nd Jan, as new MI came in effect on 1st Jan 2015.

Apply for EE then you may get some chance.or you can even call cic directly in order to avoid any confusion./

Hey guys!

I sent my application from Pakistan on 8th November and received by CIC on 12th November.

So far no confirmation that my DD has been charged. Is there actually a delay or a hold in charging for 2133 applications?

I know for a fact that 2133 did NOT reach the cap, as i checked in first week of January 2015 and the final count stood at around 500 something. So I highly doubt they got another 4-500 applications within a few days.

Also, is contacting your bank the only way you can find out if your DD has been charged? There is no confirmation from CIC? And how long does it take (usually) for CIC to charge the DD and send the PER/NER email?
