Anyone here whose fee was en-cashed but then received Negative Evaluation instead of PER? I applied for the 3rd time under 2013 FSW and finally my fee was encashed. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

In my earlier attempts, my whole file was sent back due to small errors!!

Actually in the hindsight when I think about it, these were not small errors

1. In this application in schedule 3 I identified my application to be evaluated against my current position (Professor) and not against 2243.
2. second time I forgot to attach copy of my son's Hindi birth certificate instead I just sent English translated notorized copy.

I hope this helps!
Good luck!

I wish luck to all new applicants and waiting applicants.
May the force be with you friends.

An advice : You are working hard to get through the application process, I know it. But dont underestimate the real challenge which lies ahead of getting visa and landing here. So be prepared and do whatever you can to get the job while you are there.

Most practical ways are

1) Get a nice Linked In profile with professional photo and gr8 credentials listed in Canadian style details.
Must buy Linked In premium services or job seeker's premium. It pays back when you get the job.

2) Your resume , is your face and speech. So clean it, shape it and make it nicer.

3) Get a VOIP number, so Canadian employers can call you back on local line. Remember , no one's gonna call your International number until you are Stephen Hawking or Albert Einstein.

4) Do not open your resume till you are about to get visa. Employers mostly call for in person interviews immediately. You will loose chances if you cant travel or you dont have your visa.

5) Try your best to get into your present company if they are operating here. Any position will make your life easy.

6) Be Canadian, Think Canadian, Speak Canadian and Act Canadian. How to do this, is your job to find out.

Wish you luck.

I don't see anybody landed in the spreadsheet.
Are we tracking that as well ?
It would be good to hear from the folks who have already landed
about their experience.
