My ECAS shows something that I find hard to believe:

• We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2013.
  
• We started processing your application on December 3, 2013.
  
• Medical results have been received.
  
• A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

So May 4th is finally here, the much anticipated date. Yet many of us are still quite busy filling out forms, gathering documents and awaiting reports for ECA's . :'(

I created this thread to facilitate members keeping track of applicants within their batch. However I am not very tech savvy, the 2011 applicants had a track sheet that showed the progress of the applicants....I have posted the link below.

Can anyone create a similar one for the 2013 applicants and make it assessable to us.

Any idea when FSW 2014 is opening? As i informed in the forum earlier, my application was rejected for not submitting Job Duties letter along with my application. i want to try my luck again in 2014 slots of category 2174.

BTW CIC has not returned my application and fees till date. I have contacted them over mail, they say application and documents will remain in CIC's record and i need to submit only those documents which were missing in previous application. They have not yet replied on my request for returning fees($1100.00).

Please let me know, if i can do something?

Have you already attended the CIIP online group roientation session? And what about in-person session, did you recieve any invitation for that?

Yes. I attended the CIIP session on the basis of my MR. It was a Online Group Orientation managed by CIIP-London office. I didnt recived the invitation however I registered myself through CIIP website. I found it very informative and after the session they introduce you to their partners in Canada in order to help you for job hunting, settlement, etc. I strongly recommend everybody to register into the session.

Guys, I just received a reply from NDVO on this ... Online payment of RPRF thru Credit Card is NOT an option for NDVO folks. See the reply below - Hope this helps!

Payment must be made by certified cheque, bank draft or money order and made payable to the High Commission of Canada. Fees remitted in Canadian funds must be drawn on a major Canadian bank.

I personally think it should be fine. I have send a mail to NDVO today on this - let's see what they reply but only if they reply . If you planning to send your RPRF fee soon and decide to pay online, please update the forum - it would be helpful to other folks as well!

Can you tell me did you waited for medical results from visa office. Or did you send all the things together like PCC, Immigration Fees & passports as soon as you are done with your medicals.

I sent my Passport, RPRF,Medical receipt as soon as I was done with the Medical exam.

Need help regarding application for Land Surveyor NOC

One of my friend, has B.tech in Civil Engg. and worked as Land surveyor for 1 yrs and 6 months in Bhatinda, Punjab and then did his MS in Civil Engg. from US...After completion of his degree in US, he worked as IT analyst as he was not able to find a job in his field there..Now, he is back to India and wants to apply for immigration to Canada (Kaneda in his words..lol)

So, In order to apply for Land surveyor...There is a problem with his qualification....On hrsdc website, it shows the eligibility as follows:

A bachelor's degree in geomatics engineering or survey engineering
or
A college diploma in survey science or geomatics technology with additional academic credits and successful completion of equivalent examinations set by a regional board of examiners for land surveyors is required.
A one- to three-year articling period is required.
Successful completion of professional land surveyor examinations is required.
A federal or provincial land surveyor's licence is required.

So, will he be able to apply under this category as he holds a Master degree in Civil than these degree....in his words, these are courses which he took in bachelors and masters....

Hello Admins,

Could you please suggest what is the normal time to get the MR once the ECAS status changed with an Added 2nd Line?

The Second Line was Added on 7th Feb 2014 and still no MR.

I have seen members in this forum getting MR the Very Next Day of the ECAS change.

I am Losing Hope....please help.....I am very happy while the other members are getting their results...but at the same time i am feeling very dejected that my status is not moving...

PLease help....

Nothing to worry....you must be getting your MR this week....Not all people get it the next day...I got it after 15 days
