05-Dec-2013 Medical tests completed
16-Dec-2013 Passports, RPRF DD & Medical receipts sent to NDVO
17-Dec-2013 Passports, RPRF DD & Medical receipts delivered to NDVO
02-Jan-2014 eCAS updated with 3rd line (Medical results received)
04-Jan-2014 RPRF DD liquidated
04-Feb-2014 Visa issued
08-Feb-2014 eCAS updated with 4th line (Decision Made)
11-Feb-2014 Stamped Passports & COPR received

I still can't believe I'm through with this process and that I'll have to check my eCAS no more. 9 months wasn't a big deal afterall, seeing how many years some of the deserving mates had to wait only to see rejection.

Some homework is done and some more is yet to be done. Hope to find more help here for the next step such as that rawdah, sinestra and others had been posting about various things/topics.

I think this is good news, you will receive MR soon. I cannot find you in the spreadsheet, do you mind sharing your details? When did you apply and which country do you reside in?

I am bit worried about my status. I submitted my docs PCC/PP/Medicals/RPRF fees on 17th Dec 2013. My RPRF fees were encashed on 4th jan 2014. I am still waiting for DM its almost 2 months that i hv submitted my docs.


Any guesses guys ?

Finally a small step ahead. The file processing has started after a long haul.

Admin(s) please update the status " We have started the processing on Jan 31, 2014"

Does anyone know what is the usual timeline between the time when processing has started to medical request?

Cheers, the wait is getting shorter.

Not so unusual ITGUY_del several persons are having this delay....they seem to be swamped you should be getting it soon just hang in there.

Updated Pepto....Long time no see The time between Ecas update and actual Meds request vary greatly....hopefully it shouldn't be more than another week. Just keep checking your email.

If you missed my last post, I am in Canada right now on visitor visa all this time. Gave my licensing exam and moving further in the process to get the license to practice as a Physiotherapist in Canada. Still a long way to go.

I was thinking of extending my visa but now have decided to come back anticipating my medical very soon. Will finish processing and come back.

Things have started to fall in place.

Thats what we can do .. Once this is finalized hv to work on other things very fast...

Wow Pepto heartiest congrats...I am seeing that post now, you are making progress, very proud. FORUM members FYI if you are in need of a Physiotherapist Pepto will be able to assist you very soon. Where will you be based Pepto in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), I am still undecided as I have several options. Hopefully they send that Meds request right away, so you can be back in Canada in no time.

Not sure where I will be yet...still weighing our options. There is still alot you can do in the meanwhile....updating resume....familiarizing yourself with the best job websites and uploading your resume, research the job market in your chosen area, researching schools in your chosen area, learning the bus system, best ways to build credit, best banks for newcomers, getting the needed paperwork to facilitate getting a drivers license and so many other things....many others have cars and property/houses to sell but in the end, I do believe it will be worth the frustrations and the wait.
