I am going to send my file on moday from Punjab , India
Please advise which courier should i use to get my file reach nova scotia at most earliest
Please suggest as i cannot afford to get late anymore.

I never used UPS, but I sent documents to Canada in DHL and Fedex. DHL took 5 days to deliver in Ontario as it work even sundays and fedex took 6 days. But when I used DHL to Nova scotia it took 7 days to deliver the file, included date of sending and receiving. You can clarify from other forum mates how many days the other express couriers taking.

Send it through India Post's Worldnet Express Service, the best.

When I wanted to send my package from UAE, I checked with UPS, DHL and FedEx that if I send my package on Aug 3, when it will reach at CIO Nova Scotia. The fastest was UPS; they delivered my package on Aug 7 as per their estimate. I believe they have better services in North America region. I am among the last applicants who just managed to fall in the 300 CAP limit of NOC 2132. If my package had reached on Aug 8, I believe I was out of the race.

I suggest you the same; call UPS, DHL and FedEx and clearly ask them when package will be dilevered to CIO in Nova Scotia. Whoever can do it faster, go with them. Don't save money just try to get your package as soon as possible as it is becoming ctirical to fall within 5000 CAP limit of FSW 2013 program. Even sub-CAP of NOC in which you are applying is very low, it is irrelevant now, that's my analysis.

Today(Saturday), I got my passport back with Visa stamp.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the help and support received at each step. All the anxiety and apprehension would've been excruciating without all the timely updates everyone made here. I have literally lived on this forum for the past six months or so. I came across some really rational and erudite individuals whose guidance has been invaluable. Needless to say, the creator of this thread, Islandbabe and admins have done the noblest of deeds. Thank you folks !

Well, as far as, my understanding regarding sending passport through courier is that it depends on country's law where you are residing legally. I am Pakistani National living & working in UAE. I had investigated about this issue earlier and came to know from reputed courier companies that I can send my passport to UK through courier but not to Pakistan. They explained to me that it depends on the country where are you sending your passport if that country allows such movement of passports or not.

Same thing was told to me by one of the DHL counter in UAE.

i think this year NOC will struggle to reach 5000 because fast moving NOC are already reach their target and other NOC which is currently over 100 will likely to reach 300 is approximately 10 no. hence 10*300=3000
NOC which is currently over 50 will likely to reach maximum 200 (in my opinion) so approximately 3*200=600
NOC which is currently under 50 will likely to reach maximum 150 (in my opinion) so approximately 7*150=1050
NOC whic is currently under 10 will strruggle to reach 100 (in my opinion) so approximately 4*100=400

So total 5050 maximum as i guess...

So those who r thinkimg to apply this year whose NOC are below 100 will definately in CAP of 5000 so dont bother and just try to apply this year.

SO just be faith and apply as soon as possible
