Hmm...Confusion regarding process of FSW2013. I have asked Mrs. Luckyshyma-Did she receive MR via email or post mail? To my surprise...she replied as below....

Hi XBOX7, why don't you use USPS certified/priority/express service? My friend used it once to send his PP to Canada and it worked fine. You could also try UPS. UPS takes about 3 days (ground shipping). My friend did not provide any authorization letter.

Hey,

I called fedex and dhl to enquire if I could send my passport to Canada explaining the purpose. Fedex denied it, DHL wants letter that i receved from Cppo along with a letter from MEA( minister of externam affairs with no objection). They also want a letter in which I will be taking full responsibility in case of any passport loss. So chance of sending PP via courier is almost nill.

My sister is leaving for USA 2 weeks later. I am planning to handover my passport to her with an authorization letter. From USA, she can courier it to my friend or directly to CPPO. Then CPPO can send it back via normal mail. I want to ask ppl in USA who have CPPO as their visa office. Is it legal in US to send passport via courier to canada or there is some documentation required?
I called NDVO today twice, but they said thay dont knw anything and said me to drop an email to CPPO to confirm what to do next.

Getting response via email will take minimum 15-20 days. Still i will drop an email. Tomorrow morning I will try to contact CPPO , if anyone has their contact no, plz share it.

That's true..I'm September 5 applicant and my cc was charged yesterday

Did you apply through a consultant?

I am afraid that your application might be considered incomplete without payment form. It is available under application package along with all other forms.

I don't know if consultants are providing one copy of whole package to the applicants before sending to CIO. I prepared my application on my own and scanned the whole package page by page for my own record. It is also advised by CIO to keep a copy of full package.

I believe your consultant didn't give you a copy of your application otherwise you could have confirmed it if Payment Form was included in the application. You may check with your consultant in an indirect way so that he doesn't get alarmed that you are typically asking about Payment Form and have doubt if it was sent or not.

I have received my passport today with a visa. CPP-O received it on Oct 23rd. It started to track on Nov 19th. ECAS status has changed on Oct 17th to decision made. Please update the spreadsheet.

Hi Arjoy,

I also applied through consultant. They made me and my spouse to sign in all the filled forms after verification. They didn't show me this fee payment form. They scanned and send $1100 DD to my mail box before sending the documents. I think the consultants are filling this form on behalf of the applicants as because fee payment form do not require the applicant's signature if the payment method is DD. So don't worry. However you can double check it with them again if you want.

Don't do that, unless you accompany your sister you cannot let her carry your Passport. It is an offense, even an authorization letter will not suffice. There will be a lot of explanation to be done if checked or caught. So please seek an alternate opinion.

The only work around for is to change you are address by Mailing to (OttPilot-Immigration @ cic.gc.ca) as mentioned in the below link

In our Indian Passport its written " Passport should not be sent out of any country by post. It should be in the coustody of either of the holder or if a person authorised by the holder.

So, as per that, its not illegal. But this all my perception, still not sure how much it works on ground.

Also, you have suggested to change corredpobdence address, i am not sure how that will help me in sending passport to CPPO .
