Mohanna we are all being positive that 12 months is the maximum deadline. Hopefully they keep up their words and name. Cause Ive been waiting for visa's for a very long time. Applied H1B US visa in 2005 but till date no updates. Applied Quebec Skilled Worker in 2010 but till date no update. Now I am trying for FSW 2013. Its my last hope for a future in the American continent.:) If i don't get it this time I am gonna go work in Dubai. I am fed up of working for peanuts in India. :)
You'l get this time for your perseverence...
to be honest first time I've heard that somebody has been trying for more than 8 years..
Best of luck

And before these backlogs they were clearing previous backlogs, and before them earlier backlogs and so on...
You know what strange, knowing about existing problems with backlogs and processing times in these offices for many many years, they did nothing to address this problem. No reallocation of resources, placing additional visa officers in these offices, improving procedures...nothing.

I start to think they do nothing about this intentionally, maybe something similar to green card lottery in USA putting some kind of intake limits from certain countries for diversity purposes. But doing this kinda cruel and torturous way.
I'm trying to find a way to hurry the LVO office along every time I talk to someone I'm being told the 25month timeline stands.

I think the best was if for anyone applying under the 2013 FSW Through LVO to email the minister in charge who will, if he gets enough email from us explains how unfair it is if other people are getting visas issues within months and we are being told over 2 years, he will surly intervene and help with the problem. If he doesn't know of the people he can't to anything.

Please email him on the details in the thread below, all LVO applicants, otherwise 25 months is along time

My guess that in LVO it will take approximately the same amount amount of time as in Moscow, New-Delhi or Singapore-eternity. :(

Hello;

Three days ago, my e-cas status has changed from "Medical results have been received" to "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision". I have not got a PPR, so I have doubts about if my application has been accepted or refused. Does anyone know how long do they take to give an answer?

My application is been processed by the Paris visa office.

Thank you
Well, from all the other guys this sounds really good news. Let's hope Paris keeps continuing to process at such a good speed. so far no-one from Paris seems to get AOR, but if they waive interviews and go straight for the MR no one will complain !!!!

!!!!!PLEASE HELP - MEDICALS!!!!!!

Hello Seniors, We are family of 5 who applied for Canadian PR from New Delhi. Consultant got a mail from NDVO regarding medicals, but he only forward to us only 3 mails out of 5 family members. When i asked why the other 2 members' mails he did not forward (including the principal applicant), he said that he has received only 3 today (i.e., 16 November, 2013) and till now he has not received those other 2 mails or the what else is required by NDVO. So in this case what should i do, should i wait. Is it a common practice that sometimes few family members gets early and few after few days or what. Please help ASAP...ty

You should send an email to your Visa Office, or ask your consultant to talk to visa office. Usually it is together for all family members.
