So, buoyed by maina's successful call, I called up CIC again and this time I got the "nice lady" this time. :-*
However, after looking up my surname, firstname , DOB, passport no.. she cudnt find it in the system :'(

So either my application has been .......... or still in the queue :-[

Hi Npatel,

Many Congratulations for receiving the PER email. Great!! finally the candidate with DD as payment option for 16 may NOC 1112 got PER email.

Can you share now what your ECAS status show :- weather it show the same "received your application on 16 may" and 'In Process" or something else.

Please share your experience!! And Enjoy the Friday night....

For better results, call cic when you see someone who applied one day before you getting charged.

1. Updated IMM5406E as I had missed writing all the names in native language (I guess I didn't really need to do this. Jigzy missed some names in native text too but didn't face any problems)
2. Updated IMM0008ENU_2D as I had received the national ID cards (in English language) for me and my family AFTER sending my initial application. Initially I sent the ones in native language + translation. Also my child, who never had this ID got one along with our new ones. So I updated this form with updated ID details, generated bar-codes again and resubmitted.
3. New National ID card copies.

I sent these with a covering letter explaining the situation and mentioning all my details to enable them to track me.

I felt that in this situation, they might consider me a 23rd May applicant as that is when these additional forms and ID copies were logged into CIO. Anyway, since its the turn for 23rd May applicants now, I'll find out soon enough.

For those that haven't read my previous posts, my additional docs were acknowledged with an email and they wrote that they'll try to attach with my original application. I did not have an UCI at that point.

Can you please consider the change of text color for fee method CC/DD. as it is important factor to look at.. its text color is not friendly to eyes..specially when it becomes green after mighty PER.

I also did the filing in the month of may, already got PER couple of days ago !

Does anyone have an idea about Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) ?

When exactly one can apply there to join the newcomers orientation program in India ?

I heard it helps a lot settling down as a new immigrant in Canada..!!!

Would highly appreciate if someone has some related re-search done on it and would not mind sharing it...
