I would appreciate if someone can help me.

In year 2004 I left my home country for higher study. I finished my MSc in year 2007. Then I started my job career in another country and since then I have been working in same country. I visited my home country one a year for couple of weeks. My question is, do I have to have police clearance certificate from above all three countries. Your advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

As per me PCC is required upto last 10 years. . .

Hello again, guys.

For those that had their CC charged already, did your bank call you to confirm that there is a pending charge from IMMIGRATION CANADA FSW? or did the transaction just posted automatically from CIC?

The reason i'm asking is that my CC's approval is system-based. Meaning, if there are any transactions that are unusual (something this big and not ordinary), the system usually puts it on hold until the I, the card owner, confirms that it is indeed a valid transaction. I already called the bank three (3) times the past week that I am expecting this transaction by telling them the "vendor" and "amount".. they just could not give me a 100% assurance that it will not be declined due to everything being a system thing.

Any feedback regarding this matter? Anybody got calls from their banks for confirmation? Does CIC wait for this confirmation or will they automatically decline my application? Aaaaaarrrrrrgh.. too much thinking is getting into my head. :'(

Hi,
I think, i missed 2 fields blank in the application, instead of filling NA....But the appl is still with courrier service (DHL Canada).I just need to fill the fileds with NA. So is there any chance to edit my application from courier service before delivering to CIC. Or is there any other way out? Please advice

What are the fields that you left blank and in which form? I don't think courier people do that...

Guys

I just realized I sent the old Form 3. My application was only received a week and a half ago in Nova Scotia so I don't think they've even opened it.
What is the best thing to do?

I am worried if I just wait until they send it back to me, it will be too late for me to re-submit it.

Very VERY frustrating. Any thoughts?

Tks

If you have all the documents required send it again. That is my recommendation, since the chances that the present application would go through are 0%. Marta's application was refused because of that.:(

Liabilities and fund settlement

Liabilities field on the form doesn't accept anything other than a valid numeric value. So, if you have Zero liabilities and you enter a Zero, even that turns out to spaces.
You should have entered a value in Settlement funds field. Hopefully CIC should consider assets amount, if you have provided proper evidence for that. Not sure if this is going to be soemthing CIC consider it as incomplete. Since 'NA' is not accepted by these fields.
It should be fine I think.

I think you should send PCC for all three countries, however they are not required with the initial application. You can send your application without them, but just be prepared that they will ask for them later in the process.

How do you get your UCI number?
You will recieve a communication from CIC through the email provided in the Generic form if you are not using any representative. Else, your representative will get the communication regarding UCI.

@ all Senior guys

I have quick doubt about the language eligibility and mark distribution according to IELTS results

No where it is mentioned that applicant should get points separately for each language ability

the table only says

if CLB level 7 then 4 points for each ability i think which means ( 4+ 4 + 4 + 4 = 16 )

else if CLB level 8 then 5 points for each ability i think which means ( 5+ 5 + 5 + 5 = 20 )

else CLB level 9 then 6 points for each ability i think which means ( 6+ 6 + 6 + 6 = 24 )

Please clarify ??/

Check this page for IELTS calculation: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp

Match the IELTS ability and check the score in the last column. Yes, every ability is graded on its own.
