Short q: how do you know they started already with 10th May apps? We didn't have any updates here...
Looking at the sheet they need 3/4 days to charge 1 day...so hopefully by next week they will process 15th of May....

Happy waiting and happy Canada Day!

Next Week. They started to work on May 10th from Last Thursday.

In whichever country you have lived for 6 months..you need to get PCC for the same..

I think you should send PCC for all three countries, however they are not required with the initial application. You can send your application without them, but just be prepared that they will ask for them later in the process.

Liabilities field on the form doesn't accept anything other than a valid numeric value. So, if you have Zero liabilities and you enter a Zero, even that turns out to spaces.
You should have entered a value in Settlement funds field. Hopefully CIC should consider assets amount, if you have provided proper evidence for that. Not sure if this is going to be soemthing CIC consider it as incomplete. Since 'NA' is not accepted by these fields.
It should be fine I think.

Thank you so much kondaveeti41....So the fields can be blank, if i have 0 liabilities and settlement..... :)
God bless u.....

Thanks!!

I called CIC on the number Huang provided last Thursday. It was June 27th, and the lady told after checking the info that she is only getting a note that they have started to work on your file Today.

So thats how I know that they have started on May 10th.

0 settlement fund is not acceptable. You should have wrote the minimum amount required for your family size.

I am trying to contact CIC , anyone who had response through mail please share the correct cic email and also phone number to call cic from India.
I going call them tomorrow ..'

I would suggest, wait till the application of 17th may start getting checked..... Your process may get delay if you call them and mail them very often...better to wait till ur turn comes..

Liabilities and fund settlement

Option 1. If you have got any one in Canada(friend/relative) then divert your courier at their address. Get it corrected and then send to CIO.

Option 2. You can talk to customer service of your courier agency and get the courier back to your address(i m not sure about any extra charges).. you can correct it and again send it..

Talk to Customer Care..

I random check on my weibo ( something similar to twitter in china) and find one agent said his customer get his cc charged while appl reached at at may 9th. As this guy is 2243, while the announced 65 did not includes 2243, we can conclude that the CIC number is only up to may 8th at most. This can also be reflected on the timeline that none of the may 9th applicants get charged before June 24th when CIC announced second change.

Thanks Huangxyqjy! You are our trusted envoy for the chinese applicants!!

I have settlement funds around 17500 CAD and it's enough for 3 member family. Do I need to write the same price in assets or just in settlement funds?

CIC cap could be of any date as I have a feeling that the many NOCs are being processed as of different dates. For example, there are probably fewer applications in NOC 3141 vs. say 1112. Therefore, the specialist reviewing NOC 3141 may perhaps have reached 15 May while the 1112 guy is only at 8/9 May. Again, this is pure speculation. Here is hoping that NO cap has been reached in any category...
