I think they are just receiving now. I can't think of any other explanation. That brings me back to my previous question, if they are only receiving, why would they receive after caps are filled? That gives me some hope that maybe the caps arent filled. Wishful thinking.

If CIC has started working on the applications then by this time some one should inform about his/her CC being charged.

since even early birds of this forum who delivered their application on 6th May has not been charged, does it mean CIC has not started yet and just collecting it?

Marta's application reached cic at the earliest. makes you wonder just what the heck the immigration dept is doing at cic, and the work force involved to process the cap count. :(

Don't stress me out, maybe my application is on the bottom of the huge pile :) or on it's way back home

I am worried about my application too. But it is impossible that none of the early bird here meet the selection criteria. So I just assume CIC even did not open our package yet....

This unwarranted delay from CIC regarding the very first stage of shortlisting is very nerve wracking. If we just know that we got short listed/application accepted we can move on with our lives. The actual visa process is very time taking and we would have no issues waiting for it.

Both, the main applicant and his/her spouse should fill out the Background Declaration - Schedule A form. You have to sign yours, she has to sign her form. It doesn't matter if she is in some other country. She can fill the form and send it to you by courier. That's what my wife did.

Google doc opens as a blank sheet now. Am I the only one who is experiencing this now?

Guys,

While we are waiting for our CC to be charged and Cap update, I thought this might help a bit to every individual here.

Many in this forum might have seen this documentary. If not then worth watching.

So enjoy and if you can, implement it from today. You never know. :)

P.S. I believe very strongly in Law of Attraction rule.

hi. i think most of you have sent your application by this time. what if (really hope not) things won't go our way...
i'm just wondering if there are other options aside from canada where we can apply for immigration. so that we can still use our IELTS results.
maybe australia or new zealand?
is it hard to apply to those countries if you don't have any relatives living there?

any ideas, guys?

If you have more than five (5) family members, you must complete the Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form for each additional family member in order to include everyone in your application.

I think that's for people who have more kids/ dependants than it can actually fit into Generic form
