the Cap updates are still not posted, I have no clue why they would purposely withhold the data?

Isnt it cruel enough for us that you just send the applications back without contacting the person and asking for the required forms????

I dont know how many of people working in CIC would have as much patience as the applicants have..I can just imagine them having donuts and timbits all day long..How many people and hoow long does it take to count the people who have made it to the cap?

Well, if you have UCI that pertains to FSW 2013 application and you're able to check its record on ECAS (as in-process), its a good sign and indicates that you DD has been encashed (dont worry if you haven't gotten any information regarding DD encashment, as usually it takes 4 to 5 weeks to get back encashment info to the parent bank)....and your data has been put in GCMS that is being reflected on ECAS. Your PER must in the way. Usually it take 9 to 12 (or some times 15) working days to get PER (on email) after CC / DD encashment....for mine it took 12 days from CC charging to PER...

There has been no updates from CIC on the website or even the CC charges for the last week.

Status is updated only after they send you an email. There could be a possibility that your file might get returned, even if you have UCI allotted..

Well it doesn't mean that if you call CIC you are upto to expedite things there .This is the least reason why most of us applicants are calling. And why the heck there was a contact info in the website and call center agents if it will not serve the purpose?
First of all, we want to make sure that they have our files to whisk all the worries such as "that it could have been lost like what others in this forum had experienced". Secondly, to calm down yourself from many sleepless and frantic modes whenever you've got UCI from the phone. This trend is just normal for most of the applicants to at least clear the doubts and worries at first stage while satisfying him/herself thus ready to face another worries once the first stage have been cleared. Though it implies a continuous fear, at least you will know that the file is moving forward. Who among you guys don't worry for the next stage? I doubt no one until we had reached to the point that the visa stamped was already in our passports. God speed to all of us then.

remember the cap was 500 at that time and this time it is less but ECA is introduced .

I still cant understand , by viewing this data u can judge , like CIC processing this year is happening like a snail's walk. :'(

As per my thinking i think you are saying wrong.
Because this year immigration process is tough than previous year.
CIC has planned system in such a way that only few people can apply for FSW.
Like some % of applicants will not get Qualification ECA due to non recognized universityies, IELTS CLB 7, Funds, Exp etc etc.
This time 300 cap will take more time than 500 cap in previous years. So be positive and let other applicants motivate to prepare files to send.

Man its 2013. Even uneducated people using FB todays time. So calculate percentage according to 2010 & 2013 users. You will get answer yourself.

Well I had the same notion, and almost lost hope.....but then the second update from CIC gave me some respite.....seems like this yr CAPS would be filled slightly later than it happened in 2011, thanks to ECA n other stuff.
