Isn't it wierd that nobody get charged after July 8 th? Have a feeling that 1112/2174 are full as of may 10 th. CIC is sending PER but not charge anymore? As of today 18 of this forum on 2174 already get charged, a large number comparing with 300 cap. let's see the CIC's update.

For those people whose CC has been charged, may i know if your cards were "3D secure payment" activated ?
....'cause there are some rejections here due to CC payment not going through!

I want to know if anyone has third party online security enabled on his/her card (like "SSL VISA SECURE" or Mastercard 3D secure) which requires a password and the payment still went through ?

My CC has this 3D secure enabled and i am somewhat worried now looking at the rejections due to CC issues

YES, ms liby, you are a helluvalot MORE DESERVING of a successful application than all your other cohorts in the very popular noc 1112 because you submitted a few days earlier than them. They should congratulate you

BUT *if*, on the slightest chance, your application is rejected (God Forbid!), will you share the news and the reason with this thread - like alll the other kind hearted folks who shared their reason for rejection?

Or are you going to be like the sarcastic dumb@ssess who think they got the fsw 2013 evaluation process down pat? 8)

Our bank informed us that if we do 2 more online payments 3D secure will be set automatically...So no online payments until CIC takes (God please!) our money... Talk to the bank and explain the situation so they temporarly remove your 3D secure password (if possible!)...It would be indeed very sad being rejected for CC/DD issues like someone reported here...

For a big institution like CIC, of course they'd be plugged-in to the mcard/visa servers right (wrt 3d secure issue)? it's a different process compare to buying from other online merchants

I believe 3D secure should not be an issue. I have got the airlines ppl to charge my card over the phone thoh i have 3d secure enabled... and also on POS swipe machines.. u dont need to enter 3d secure password or pin. However, only the guys who have been charged on the cards (here on the forum) can tell for sure.. !

No, just look at the "fee encased"Column on the google doc, nobody get charged after JULY 8th.

It should not be an issue. It's "can be" optional on the merchants side, in this case, cic.

Here's a thought, what if CIC uses that against those low scoring applications... they return those 67-68 applications then say that they failed to charge the cc? might be authentic, would have to believe it is...but just maybe, could they use that to introduce some sort of "unwritten filtering" of applications? ...just thinking... ;D
