Dear Member,
Now its on the top of this patience testing game and I am worried that now I am losing nerves.

I don't know what NDVO is thinking about my application but its very very tense situation as no updates and not even second line added to my ecas.

I think this process is really getting a spin with highest RPM.

Don't know whether I could surivive this turbelent force or not but getting nervous by getting discriminated by NDVO.

NDVO, please please listen and send my MR. I only know how much pain I have taken to send the application at the earliest ???

A lot of applicants are talking about FSW reopening in 2014. Happy to be proven wrong but i am certain that their is no official word about this from CIC. Now i think there is a chance that some unscrupulous Consultants are floating this idea so that innocent applicants can fall in their trap and they can collect fees using lines like .... "lets start working on your file so that you can apply as soon as the programme opens"

I have experienced this myself last time when consultants kept calling me saying that they will start preparing my file on the basis of previous NOC (2011 list). when i asked them what if my NOC is not included they said then they only keep a small service charge (small = approx 33%!! ) I eventually decided not to use any consultant and apply myself. I really think if a consultant is willing to prepare your file in advance for FSW 2014 then one should take in writing that they will not pay ANY fees in case the programme does not open in 2014. Remember EOI is a totally different thing from FSW.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT FSW WILL BE REOPENED FOR 2014 OR NOT. ALL I AM SAYING IS THAT AS FAR AS WE KNOW THEIR IS NO OFFICIAL NEWS ABOUT THE PROGRAMME'S FUTURE EXCEPT THAT THEY PLAN TO INTRODUCE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) IN EARLY 2015.

Sorry friends if it sounds harsh/critical but it had to be said on the forum. We have had far too many cases told on this forum where agents have screwed things up and gone scotfree just because the applicants are not informed enough and think that the agent tried their best... ATB

I am also getting junk mails into my mail box from the so called consultant about fswp 2014... After taking money they neglect or won't keep any promises they given at the time we sign the contract....If all the applicants aware of this forum no body will go to any consultants.....

I knos it is max 10,000 CAD $ (Is this aount restricted to per person, or per family, because as per this URL http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp for a family of 4, the POF should be shown as $20,654. I am a bit confused with this ???

As mentioned in the link.........

"Bring as much money as you can to make moving and finding a home in Canada easier. Note, however, that Canadian customs regulations require you to declare if you are bringing more than C$10,000 into Canada. If you do not tell them, you may be fined or put in prison. These funds could be in the form of:

1. cash
2. documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or
3. documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers’ drafts, cheques, travellers’ cheques
or money orders)"

As of my opinion you just need to show the source of the money.. no matter how much you carry.

OR i have a question

## can we open a bank account in Canada from India (kotak Mahindra bank allows us to open a bank account in any Scotia Bank branches of Canada). And show the bank statement of Scotia Bank......
