With Noc 2145...for have some time apply for the passport as soon as they allow you to!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully you will get it in the next 2 months. So far only 1 person in our spreadsheet has applied for this NOC, monitor closely the CIC CAP updates as well, to see what the intake is like for that category and prepare your package for send off ASAP.

My NOC is 2145 Petroleum engineers
Its not easy to change again name on ID card.
Moreover the change is not onlysurname.
On old passport (for unmarried) they write fathers name: xxxx, on new(after marriage) they write husband name:xxxx
I am going to send new ID card, Marrigae certificate and old passport with a letter to explaun that due to passport problems in my home country it will tke 2-3 months to furnish her new passport with name change and i will send them a copy whenever its made.

I am hopefull it will be OK.

Martha,
I'm also in the same situation as yours. I submitted the older version of the schedule 3. I'm still waiting for my application to be returned. I have a question on the IELTS though. I did sent my original IELTS report with my application. Looks like it is difficult to get a duplicate one in case if I have to resubmit my application. How did you manage IELTS report when you resubmitted the application. Did CIC sent the IELTS back to you ?
Yes, they did sent the whole package back. So I did get all documents back.

Important:

My application was receivd by CIC on May 16h, 2013.

Validity of 2 years of my IELTS is going to be expired on June 12th, 2013.

As per CIC guide, its acceptable.

Any conment?
It clearly says on CIC website and checklist that IELTS must not be older than 2 years upon date of receipt at CIO

Should be fine..

Hello guys,

I'm currently doing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have applied under the PhD stream (FSW3). My application was received on June 7th. Today I received a full-time, permanent job offer. The employer is fully aware of my status and willing to support my immigration application. I don't need LMO as I have been employed by the same employer for 15 months now on my work permit.

Do you recommend to change the application from PhD (FSW3) to Arranged Employment (FSW2)? Which one is faster? and how may I change the category? (P.S: the only difference between both is Schedule 3).

Best Regards,

Why not do both and see which one is processed first?

Hi guys, I am a little confused about Marta's case. After she got her file back she reapplied. Did she have to join the que fresh or did she get her old position back of May 06 submission???? Sorry i was away for a few days and re read the posts but could not confirm the above. Tx

Well, your suggestion might delay the processing time significantly and I don't have too much money to pay the fees twice!!

I got married a month ago.
My Marriage cert is ready, Spouse new ID card is ready. But we just found out in my country no passports being issued due to technical reasons and i may have to wait 2-3 mnth before i can apply with her new passport.
CAN I APPLY USING HER OLD PASSPORT with old surname?

Hello Nizam,

Under your name I can see the Doc's Request say's "03-06-2013". Have you received any request from CIC asking for any additional documents ?
