Anyway, Australia too has closed accepting any applications for skilled worker visas as of now.
So people have to wait till next year for Canada FSW programme to open, Only if it opens :

Guys pls. AU has not closed. They have closed old visas 175 and 176 and opened up EOI via Skill select. The new visas are 189 and 190 and provisional is 489

I guess you would be the first one here to receive MR from NDVO... all the best dude... do keep us posted on any intimations from NDVO..

why did NDVO stopped sending AORs after 21st may applicants...

Are people from previous years getting MR requests? any idea?

Very good Alta. Nice initiative by you. For all 2263, applicants, it will be nice if along with your Referral letters indicationg OHS responsibilities, you also attach your OHS Training Certificates/ Lead Auditor OHS Certificates/ Internal Auditor OHS certificates.

These shall help to ensure that you are an actual practitioner of ohs responsibilities in your respective organisations.

Yes, NOC 2263 is very very specific profession. Around the world OHS and EHS professionals are performing some unique duties, but also a certain number of specific duties, depends of the country, region legislation etc.....

I wish luck to all of us and soon I will start sharing some things here on the forum regarding certification and networking in this field so we are prepared when we get PR to join Canadian labour market as a safety professionals faster.

dear seniors I am 6th june applicant of 2263 and on 24th september I have got information from cic that they are working on my file,it means my file has not been returned yet,does it mean my file has passed completeness check or otherwise.

Friends i have two things that bother me and would appreciate help or opinions:
First if i have applied under one occupation and were rejected, can i try with different occupation next year?
The other thing i wandered about is general cap of 5000. Do you have any projection or guesses up to which date will it be safe to send regarding this limit?

Does anyone knows a similar kind of forum for guidance on australian immigration? I applied under 2147, app reached on 3rd-Sep and ironically, i feel to be out of the race for current year. Who knows CIC revises the list next year and we end up seeing other occupations. Therefore, it would be better to utilize the IELTS results before its too late.

If your file would have been forwarded to VO, they would told you

So, be calm, they are still working on it,... why does it last so long? only they know, but look at our 2263 mate, Jpdentdoc, he's waiting for a while and he found just a day ago about his WES issue...

So, keep your faith and be strong!
